Felicia is a delight!!
I purchased a Yelp deal to help defray the cost so thank you Felicia & Yelp for offering the deal.
Felicia was friendly, funny and so great to chat with. She briefly reviewed my skincare history and suggested the Deep Cleansing Facial. I am grateful for her suggestion as I had mentioned to her my concern about some skin congestion. This facial includes a gentle peel which warms upon application and takes on the quality of hot tamales candly on the surface of the skin, it felt good to know this stuff was working as it penetrated the skin.
Felicia offered a truly relaxing and soothing facial experience sure there were extractions (which never feel good no matter who is doing them), but my skin looks fabulous. Even my Father who often has a hard time noticing when I have colored/cut my hair immediately announced my skin looked VIBRANT upon seeing me post-facial!
And wow how blissful I felt as she applied the serum to my face massaging the muscles of the face and neck in a rhythmic way.
Bonus Felicia was even so gracious as to wax my eyebrows gratis!!! :)
Thankfully she is located in a lovely part of the city, which is super close to the Palace of Fine Arts with plenty of available street parking.

I got a full leg wax from Felicia just after Christmas. She was friendly, gentle, professional and thoughtful. I was her first appointment on this cold winter day but she had already heated up the waxing room with a small heater before I arrived.
I have had a handful of leg waxes from different places in the past with varying results. Sometimes the hair just grows right back or breaks. Felicia's leg wax has been fantastic! Long lasting and no breakage.
I plan to return. Another plus, her prices are also very competitive for the neighborhood. -

I decided to try Felicia since a Yelp deal is available and it is close to my apartment. The place is relatively small but calm and serene. Compare to other spas in SF, her style is very down to earth. One can sense that her skills and products are of high quality.
If you're looking for a no frills, old school facial void of complex tools, lasers etc, she will be your perfect choice. -

Wow.
What a facial!
Felicia is amazing! She is pleasant, friendly, professional and uses just the perfect amount of product--not stingy, but you also don't feel like you're drowning!
My skin is glowy and lustrous and perfect--something I've never been able to say before!
She's very gentle and thorough and her facials are actually very relaxing-lots of massage, lots of quiet and good smells.
Love her!
Oh! And he products are the best!! And parking is super easy. -

Felicia is the bomb!!! She's done my Brazilian waxes for years. I've traveled from Los Angeles, Oakland, and currently from Fairfield to see her. She makes you feel super comfortable, her place is the cleanest, and her hours are flexible! I've had a couple her facials and I love them too! My skin is sensitive and she knows exactly what I need. She's a true professional. I love her!

I had a Jump Start facial with Felicia. The facial was $85.
The Place/Ambiance: Tiny. It's not a spa, pretty much a Skin Care Salon, but it was tidy, clean and had all the latest technology. However, because the place was so small and the walls so thin, you could hear everything going on (telephone ringing, people talking), granted it wasn't too bad. The treatment room itself was very cramped, but again, clean and tidy. They had a Frette robe hanging up for customer use. The treatment bed was comfortable with a nice heavy blanket.
The Facial: The facial was 75 minutes total and it was great! Felicia did a spectacular job. The facial started with steam. Felicia also gives you a little foot rub with lotion (Red Flower - I believe) during this time. She lets the steam go for 5-10 minutes. The temperature was comfortable, not too hot. I usually hate steam because I can't seem to breathe, but this one was bearable. Extractions were non painful done with just tissue clad fingers (although I never have had to do many extractions before anyway, so she might use a heavier duty tool, if your face needs it. An apple & peach mask left and a very gentle and soothing massage follows. The last step was a semi-sticky cream and then I was done.
The Esthetician: Felicia herself is super sweet, yet professional. She chats when you want to and is quiet and respectful at all the right moments. She asks you about your skin, what you are using or have used, what you are interested in doing before starting.
There is no product pushing at this little salon, even though they use wonderful products (mainly Pevonia).
The treatment was exactly 75 minutes. I didn't have to wait when I got there and the bill was ready when I was done. Perfect timing on everything.
Overall the best facial experience I have had in the city. I do like Tru's oxygen gadget, but for the actual experience itself, this one was excellent. I will definitely go back and try their other facials. -

Fabulous Felicia...she diligently works on my skin as if it was a porcelain doll. Her gentle demeanor, patience, and optimism is what's keeps me coming back. I should have written this 5 years ago but I lag with the people I adore. I love this girl, not only as a aesthetician but as a friend. I drive all the way to the other side of the city and leave work early for this one. You must try the True Skincare line shes carries, love it!

I really don't want to tell you about Felicia.
I really, really don't.
Because I want her all to myself.
But she's so great, I just can't hold out giving her the excellent review she definitely deserves. Felicia was my first aesthetician after I moved here in July 2004, and I haven't gone anywhere else for waxing or facials... for good reason!
Where do I start? First of all her prices are incredibly reasonable, especially given the level of service she gives you while under her magnifying glass. :) Secondly she is sweet and attentive. Of course, after 5 years of being a devotee client, you'd expect her to know/remember some of my personal goings on... but homegirl remembers it all! We pick up conversations after months almost exactly where we left off.
Now, I'm sure she won't want to take credit for this, but she helped me get rid of my weird salicylic acid-resistent acne after recommending the True brand Purifying line of products she sells (active ingredient is triclosan and worked well for me). And note: the recommendation only came after I asked for it. No pushy sales here.
Lastly - and this is probably the strongest factor in my recommendation - I don't have a car and I live in Oakland now... And yet I can't imagine going anywhere else. I take BART to the bus (or sometimes rent a Zipcar) - totally worth it!

Had the most amazing facial here. The salon is super cute and the actual treatment room is so inviting and cosy. Felicia makes you feel welcome and pampered from the beginning to the time you leave. My skin was glowing after and looked great for days. Even though it's in the Marina, parking around here is not an issue.

I love, love LOVE Felicia!
I'd been getting facials at the Nob Hill Spa, and they were lovely, but then in October of 2007, I overspent on other things and needed to find less-pricey skin care. I found Felicia and have not looked back. Felicia's facilities are not nearly as fancy as the Nob Hill Spa.... in fact, her facility is not a spa at all. But who cares? The facials are great.
Felicia uses excellent products; she gives you a foot massage; and she's just awesome, all the way around. In my book, there's nothing better than giggling about boys and music with your esthetician during a relaxing facial. Top notch. -

I have never had such a QUICK brazilian! At first I was all freaked out because I'm used to a countdown and all this pomp, but Felicia just did the job and got it done, which freaked me out until I realized I was in and out in seriously less than 20 minutes, including getting undressed and dressed and payment! WHEW! Would definitely recommend.

I used to go to Felicia for ongoing facials two years ago when I lived in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, my skin required a dermatologist so I had to stop and recommended my sister who went in for a series of facials before her wedding. My sister said her skin glowed on her special day!
Anyway, in the more than half a year that I saw her, it was obvious Felicia knew her stuff. She never pushed products and always seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say or what was going on in my life. She's a sweetheart and I plan to visit again...maybe for a Brazilian. Heard she's the queen of Brazilians. Anyway, although it's a little pricey, I still think it's worth it because she's great! -

I was looking for a good esthetician near my work in the Marina area and came across Felicia Gelardi on Yelp! I saw many nice reviews about her so went to try her out today. Definitely had a great facial. Was very relaxed, the place is cute and comfortable. Not a major spa -- just a simple and elegant office.
I've had many facials in my life and this was a very good one. She was very nice, took me in on time, explained things to me about my face and what I should have. She didn't shove any of her products down my throat -- which is a first for me when I get a facial! So that was a big plus.
Service = Excellent. Facial == very good. Location = Easy to find. I highly recommend Felicia. She's fantastic! -

Felicia's facial is excellent -- after neglecting my skin for months because of busyness I went to see Felicia, and she fixed it. The whole process, including making an appointment, is easy and relaxing. Not only is Felicia great at what she does, she listens to what you want and explains everything she's doing. Will definitely be back much sooner next time.

I have been searching for someone who does great brows and who doesn't have ridiculousness prices and I found her! I did a lot of yelp searching and found Felicia, she had a yelp deal so that was also a plus. I went in to get my brows done as well as an under arm wax. She did a great job on my brows and even told me which areas I need to grow out (since they have been waxed way too thin in the past). I have had many bad waxing experiences especially with my underarms because they are so sensitive, but Felicia did them so quick I couldn't even believe it. So not only did she get every hair, but she minimized the pain by getting it done with so quickly. It might not sound like a big deal, but I really enjoyed her services and will definitely be back.

LIZ!!!!
Hands down amazing. I thought I was going to have to go home to get my pampering done.(gene juarez) I was going to be a beast till I flew back up to seattle for my best friend's wedding in july, but thanks to liz I am not longer hairy in the face. Nothing is sexier than a girl with sexy unkempt eyebrows and a sexy mustache! NO SHAME IN THE GAME! if you are not hairy than the lord has blessed you, but not me. as for my Brazilian, she may be the quickest Brazilian women I have ever dealt with. Kind of scary how fast it was, but I don't care, get it down,and let me breath freely!! :) Love you liz for being amazing and inexpensive. She is a firm believer that waxing isn't suppose to be expensive, and is just a necessary thing to keep up with. :) thanks for understanding.. even if you are located in the marina and everyone here can afford you to be more expensive, you are kind enough to be cheap.
oh yeah you have to call because they don't have a receptionist so don't try to "walk in" -

Felicia recently changed the name of the salon to Felicia Gelardi Skin Care - congrats Felicia! I've been going to her for bikini waxes since July of 2005. She is FANTASTIC - she is really sweet and makes easy conversation to make you feel comfortable (during a somewhat unpleasant experience). The salon is tiny, but very clean and she only takes one client at a time, which I really like. You're in and out in less than 10 minutes - and the price is great too.

I had my first facial with Felicia, and it was awesome! First, I was able to get an appointment pretty quickly; second, the atmosphere was very calm, relaxing, with great background music; third, Felicia is so nice and very informative, since I don't get facials that often; and lastly, the facial itself was exactly what I needed (loved the massage part too). I left feeling clean, refreshed, relaxed and bright. I would highly recommend getting a facial from Felicia. One plus was that parking was easy!

So, I was headed for my first trip to Vegas and was in dire need of some (ahem) maintenance work. Now, I don't live in LA, and I'm not constantly parading around in bitty bikinis, and when you add that to the fact that I live with my boyfriend of 5+ years (and so am not out on the prowl looking to impress), you'll understand that Felicia had her work cut out for her. And she was AWESOME. She made me feel totally comfortable, was efficient and friendly, and the office was super-soothing - the perfect recipe for a return-to-waxing after a year or so. Minus one star cause thought it was a little pricey, but considering the area that's understandable. Going back for a facial next!

I have had many facials from many different estheticians over the past 8 years and Felicia is as good as it gets. She's very knowledgeable about skin and knows what to do to get it in tip-top shape. I highly recommend adding on the glycolic peel to the regular facial to give your skin that extra pop. Her prices are also very reasonable for the Marina area.

Felicia gives an excellent facial. I had a $100 Groupon and added $15 more for a glycolic peel - it was tremendous. This is the first Groupon-type purchase I have bought where I felt that I would return for full price.
Felicia's facial technique is excellent. Great facial massage, great skin handling technique, just wonderful all around. Extractions are done with fingers wrapped in tissue. They were not that comprehensive for me but people never seem to do that much on my face (I think my skin gets too sensitive). And I love her glycolic peel. 8 minutes of burny peeling underneath steam while she is giving you a foot massage! And, her shoulder massage is actually pretty decent - better than any other body massage I've received during a facial. Usually they are so light I can barely feel them, but Felicia actually put some muscle and skill into it.
The only thing that could be better is that during the facial mask at the end, she leaves the room. It would be great if she took that 10 minutes or so and gave even more massage. But she is a single person operation so I guess she has to take care of stuff outside.
The treatment room itself is small, but comfortable and totally clean. Bedding is all white, duvet style and stripped and replaced for each person (so, exactly what you'd expect).
Felicia was easy to communicate with (via email - she would always respond same day). It was a bit of a wait to get a Saturday appointment (a month or two out), but perhaps after the Groupon hysteria dies down it will be easier.
I will definitely come back here. If I can't be splurging on a full facial, I will absolutely come back for just the peel. -

Felicia is awesome. I have used pretty much all of her services, from facials to eyebrow waxings and I wouldn't go to anyone else. She seems to really keep up with the latest techniques and products and even managed to clear up my acne/rosacea prone skin. Highly recommended.

I went to Felicia on Liz Dulcich's recommendation (also a highly reviewed waxer). The brazilian bikini wax I got from Felicia was one of the best, if not the best, ever. She was super nice and professional, and it was the fastest and most complete wax I've ever had. She asked me how I wanted it done, and gave me exactly what I asked for. Even though I was 20 minutes late (missed my bus), she was able to get me in and out before her next appointment. The price can't be beat either: $50 for a brazilian. I can't recommend her enough.
