As far as locally designed jewelry, handbags, clothing, gifts and stationary goes, Favourite is my favourite! The owner, Carol Hyslop has does a fantastic job of stocking her adorable shop with beautiful, locally designed items that would be fabulous as gifts but also lovely as a treat for yourself!
Unique jewelry designs by Toodlebunny and Filou will capture your imagination and beautiful handbags by Kairo will have you wanting one in every colour! There are also yummy scented bath and body products by Trillium and fracking hilarious cards by Hug & Kiss ("Congratulations! I always thought you'd die alone.") The profound t-shirt line from Help Gives Hope, created by local teenagers to help support the West Coast Alternative Society is a perfect way to give a gift and give back as well. -

Am in love with this great gift shop. The problem is I want everything for me! Great local designers. Vanessa Cunningham Textiles, Branwen Kemp Jewelry, Dahlia Drive Dresses, Fiveleft Leather-goods, and the list goes on and on. Its like the Culture Crawl and a chic boutique in one!

The shop moved it's location in the mall and now it's just at the top of the stairs when you go to the second level.
It's still full of unique and adorable accessories and some items for Mr and baby too.
There are some really nice purses right now and I'm not usually the purse carrying type, but if I was...... I wouldn't hesitate. The smell of the worked leather alone... *moan* -it's enough to turn me into a girly girl.
We bought Mr. some new face furniture. Snazzy frames with a very modern twist.

Favourite is such an adorable, well named little store. It features products by independent designers and is the perfect place to shop if you need a unique gift for someone else or for yourself. You'll enjoy browsing through their carefully selected merchandise for women, men and babies. Of special note are their gorgeous selection of jewelery, cute tee shirts, and stylish chunky knit scarves.

I didn't know the North Shore could provide me with such a bastion of adorableness and hipness. So, I was so happily surprised to stop into Carol Hyslop's lovely shop full of wonderful gift and other items. At Favourite you will be delighted to find such goodies as handknit scarves and neckwarmers knit in big, chunky stitches and finished with groovy button closures; adorable accessories by twinkets, some very hip and sweet baby outfits, along with bath and self-care lines products and some of the coolest, handmade laptop cases I've ever seen. This little store is a must if you find yourself wandering the North Shore in search of the lovely and the delightful!
