Great Taiwan beef noodle. The broth is flavorful, noodle is al dente. The beef chunks are tender. I'd say excellent -- food court standard.

Oh how I love thee ~
I love it how you put in the necessary time to slowly cook your beef stock so it's clear and flavorful unlike so many impatient restaurants that use higher heat to result in nothing but mirky soup. Having had soup that tasted like soy sauce from the bottle, I can only say your craft had me mesmerized.
I love how you cook the noodles only when an order is put through unlike so many restaurants who half cooked their noodles and re-heat when required. Your noodles are chewy and fresh unlike so many lifeless ones I had.
I love how your beef chunks are with half meat and half tendons. They are soft yet not over cooked. I love how you don't mask the quality of your beef with unnecessary Chinese herbal spices. A light hint of soy sauce would do just the job.
I love how you plate each and every bowl of your noodle soup with minced preserved cabbage and coarsely chopped cilantro. Every bowl is presentable and delicious.
Because of your delectable craft, I am writing the cheesiest review I've ever written but I don't care, you are a perfect 10 to me.Listed in: Food Court Joints, Taiwanese Food

I was craving noodles and came back tonight. Something has changed! The broth has lost that spicy herb dimension. It's still good, but just not the same anymore. Noodles are as generic as I remember. Still super oily. Still the most expensive cup o' noodle at this food court (I think).

Favor Eat World is definitely priced a little higher than its noodle competitors at the Crystal Mall… Read more »

Beef Noodle soup is one of the great accomplishments of the Taiwanese, but not all beef noodle restaurants are created equal. There are four basic components to beef noodle soup: the soup broth, the beef, the noodles, and the cabbage. I rate the overall quality of the soup on those 4 factors alone.
Despite Favor Eat World being located inside the busy and somewhat dirty food court at Crystal Mall, Favor Eat World's beef noodle soup is worth the discomfort of the seating and the architecturally awkward underground parking. I've eaten at this "restaurant" over 20 times and am only reviewing their basic, regular beef noodle (item number 1 on the menu).
The first thing you'll experience is the pungent sour taste of the cabbage (A); the beef will probably fall apart in your mouth because there are small veins of tendon throughout each piece and the texture is if it was boiled in oil (A); the noodles may not be homemade or knifecut, but they're cooked to the point that they're chewy (B). Sadly, the soup broth is the weakest link because it has an excessive amount of garlic and salt (C).
Based on the four components listed above, their beef noodle soup gets an overall score of B+. -

Their special beef noodle is OK. Taste wise, good but a bit too salty for me; portion wise, not a lot.

Favor Eat World is a Taiwanese noodle restaurant. It is a located in the food court inside Crystal Mall. It is located next to the very popular Wang's Shanghai Cuisine. Sure, the Favor Eat World sounds really strange, yeah, the name, but I just had to try it. The specialty of Favor Eat World's dish is their beef noodle soup with beef tendons. That's what I ordered. There are a lot of big chunks of beef with a very good amount of noodles. The soup is tasty, but a bit on the salty side, so I didn't drink it all. Their noodles are well executed and tasteful when accompanied with the soup. There are chinese vegetables and carrots in the soup too. The meal comes with a cup of tea. I highly recommend it if you're a big fan of beef and noodles!
