See my other Fatburger review at: http://www.yelp.com/re... to get my first impression of going to a Fatburger joint, and why I was a bit disappointed with this one.

The food here was decent, but I don't think I'd be doing you a favor by calling it outstanding. I had a turkey burger here, so that certainly may have influenced my opinion somewhat, as I'm sort of comparing apples with oranges - I had a beef burger at the West Broadway location.

I ordered a chocolate shake, expecting it to be nice and chocolatey, after having a nice one at the Broadway location. However, the shake I had here was anything but chocolatey. I was flavorless, rather like a Mickey D's shake.

The fries were a bit over done.

Not much else to say. I'd eat here again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. See my other Fatburger review, which links to a review I did of Vera's Burger Shack, which I found to be much better than either Fatburger location that I've been to.

Fatburger reminded me of a decent burger with all the fixins'. I love that the burger is made to order. I'm also a big fan of the mix of mustard and mayo.  The patty was juicy.

The fries were hot but when you have a burger the size of mine today, the fries were too much.

Great service. A bit pricey but what burger joints are these days?

    Overall, I'll go back

Overrated!  Overpriced! Over cooked, over everything.  For the price of our two burgers, fries and drinks we could have had delicious fancy burgers at red robins, white spot etc that were served to us and had fancy schmancy things like, guacamole, exotic cheeses, mushrooms, or whatever.  Two very basic burgers, at least you would think the patty would be great, but to be honest it was bland and small. I ordered the jr fat burger, and I was very disappointed that they don't have different sized buns, teeny thin bland patty with giant bun? Fail.

It sounded like cool "FATBURGER", and I thought it will be an awesome treat to try this burger out! and here you go my story!

I went there yesterday as a burger critic more than anything else! I was not even that hungry lol. I ordered an original burger and a cup of water !! so I can taste the burger!

The burger arrived, and it was nicely wrapped, full of lettuce and loads of other stuff, I don't remember what right now! anyhow, i tasted the burger and from the first round, I knew it, it is a big X for me , sad I know, but this my honest view. A piece of dry patty that has no fat or flavor what so ever!! I swear I can make a better burger in my grill! you can ask all my friends about that!

So I'm so disappointed that after all this anticipation ... it was a clear false alarm! Though, I'm not sure if it's something wrong with the whole chain or this branch in particular! in all cases, I guess this is my last time here!

The place is clean and the staff were friendly, but hey I'm here for the burger, not to be treated well. And I think Triple O is way better flavor and juiciness wise

Sorry Fatburger is a one star! for me

I've read a lot of people complain about the price of Fatburger.
    They are certainly not cheap.

But neither is Triple-O's. Neither is Five Guys.

I'd still rather eat at Fatburger, Triple-O's and Five Guys before I went to Vera's again. The burgers are good. A little overcooked, sure - but that's to be expected anywhere after Jack-in-the-Box killed people well over a decade-and-a-half ago.

I had the Friday special: the bacon double cheeseburger and a side of cheesy chili fries.

Cheese on the burger was that gooey, flavourful stuff that only fast food joints seem to be able to get a hold of. The bacon was cooked perfectly. The burger patty itself was good. Not great, good.

The fries were fantastic. The oil is always clean as a whistle there, real shredded cheddar and a decent (if plain) meaty chili.

Where they excel is service... everyone is friendly, helpful and extra-attentive. I've never had bad service there. Or anything I would remotely call poor service.

My biggest complaint, though? Parking. It's terrible.

    A OK.

a decent burger, cooked to order, with whatever you'd like on it (even an egg, Aussie-style).  The burgers are decent, the buns are flufffy, but it's not my favorite place in the city.  Hit the spot for a quick lunch on a sunday afternoon and saved me from IKEA food.  I'm ok with that.  Not everything has to be the *most* *amazing* burger* *ever*.  The onion rings were decent, though they were the type of batter that is more flour-containing than it is greasy - not usually my style, but still done well.

Clean and friendly but very pricy for what is a fairly basic burger joint.

My junior double was good but nothing special.  My girlfriend ordered the Cajun chicken burger which had the worst Cajun seasoning I've ever tasted and the chicken might as well been made of rubber.

Don't think I'll be in a hurry to come back anytime soon

I also don't do burgers often, but when I do, I can tell if it's done right.

And.......Fatburger needs to take some new lessons on how a great burger is cooked and served. And sheesz, lower the prices! Two orders of the original fatburger combo shouldn't come to to $26.50.

Burger: Patty was very dry. Meaning, that it tasted like super, extra-lean ground beef cooked 10 minutes too long with no salt and pepper added. Then, the wrapper was turned inside out, with the shiny part around the burger. When I got home 5 minutes later, the top bun was soggy from it's own condensation!

Fries: Tasty and okay. Not overcooked.

So, I wouldn't come here again because of the actual burger. The place is clean and nice looking though.

Finally went to Fatburger in Burnaby and it was expensive! Two cheese burger combo totaled to 25.00 cdn. I dont remember Fatburger being this expensive when I lived in Los Angeles. Though I do applaud the cleanliness and the friendly customer service. Maybe Fido can learn from Fatburger in Burnaby proper customer service. I can go without the flash, the shiny stainless steel open kitchen, the comfy booths, the art works, and just simply give me a good burger for a good price. It's like a hot girl who looks good and cost a lot of maintain but fails to care for your needs--that's Fatburger in Burnaby.
