Fast Forward sets the standard for weekly entertainment news in Calgary. And let me tell you, its not very high. These folks compete with Beat Route, one of the only other notable entertainment publications in the city.
FFWD offers concert and event listings, reviews, and socialist-leftist editorial articles that you might find in a paper in one of the Eastern bloc countries. Of course, it's all been converted to English and has been spun in a pro-democratic sort of way to make it appealing to undereducated Calgarian youth.
Their advocacy of extreme environmentalism and blatantly socialist ideals doesn't sit well with us hardcore economists and the people in Calgary who are actually producing something and contributing to the process of civilization.
FFWD is great for their concert listings alone. Their articles contain the same adolescent and naive nonsense you might read in a pro-centralization paper someone wrote for Social Studies 30.
Keep your private property locked up. FFWD advocates giving it away to the non-producer and because they can't take your stuff themselves, they'd like the government to do it. Hypocrisy is the name of the game down at FFWD.
If you're looking at keeping your brain unatrophied, read something else.
