Review from Helen R.

I find this salon very willing to accomodate whatever I need, they don't try to talk me into something I don't want. It can get busy. Price is moderate. I wish more of the staff spoke English, but that is par for the course in most nail salons.
They take tips by cash not credit card, so if you want to tip make sure you have some small bills. -

I came here because it's close to my work and I needed my nails filled. I asked for a gel fill, he did acrylic, he also didn't do the white tip because he said I already had the white tip. He filed the old nail down so bad my nail underneath was red and burning, you can see the redness now through the nail. I asked for square tips, but he rounded them. He didnt file the tops down enough, my clothes were catching on the rough edges. I went tanning and I realized they weren't gel because they didn't glow. I was so displeased I went back the next day for my money back, I usually don't do this but now I am going to have to go somewhere else, pay to have these removed and pay for a new full set. He laughed in my face, saying he's been doing nails for years and everyone's nails look like these. Do not go here if you're looking for good customer service or fake nails. I've never had such bad nails in the 7 years I've been getting them done, nor have I been so disrespected.

This place is really close to where I work so I've been here a few times out of desperation, which also means I've been here enough times to have a feel for the place. Maybe I've just had a lot of good manicures in my life, but I really don't recommend this place. If any of the following things bug you when you're getting a manicure, don't go here!
-they spray and rub alcohol on your fingers a minimum of 5 times during the manicure. this is so drying for the cuticles and it actually kind of burns my fingers!
-they cut your cuticles as much as humanly possible. they dig deep and I swear they were about to hit bone.
-they insist that you wash your hands after they give you a hand massage with lotion. why? I have no idea. can't they just wipe off the lotion from your nails with a cloth. that's what most places do!
-their nail envy (that they use as a top coat) is so diluted with nail polish remover that it is pink rather than clear and i think there's a chance that they just pour no-name brand top coat into the OPI bottles to make it seem fancier
I will not be returning to this place ever!
ps: I've heard their waxes are awful! -
Review from Lara O.
My mum and sister and I come here every two weeks! The shop owner is so nice and friendly. I have never had any problems with bleeding or over cuticle cutting. I do bring my own toe seperators and nail polish so I can touch up myself once they inevitably chip! They have the best massage chairs I've found anywhere. Pricing is really competitive! I recommend making an appointment as they get pretty busy.
