Established in 1930
We are a locally owned and operated clinic which has been in downtown Victoria since the 1930's.
We are dedicated to working in partnership with our patients to enhance their quality of life through comprehensive eye health and vision care. Our long term commitment to our patient family is characterized by our genuine caring, continuing education and effective use of modern technology.
Excellent service with complete integrity is the foundation our patients can rely on.
Children are very welcome and should be in annually for their eye examinations. It is important to have their first check-up at least by the time they begin school as the majority of learning problems in the early school years stem from undetected poor vision. We have a wonderful little playroom to keep the young ones content while waiting for appointments.
Meet the Business Owner: Dr. LeRoy and Dr. Sangha N.
Dr. LeRoy grew up on a small farm in Eastern Ontario. She attended the University of Waterloo and graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degree in 1998. Dr. LeRoy has developed a keen interest in specialty contact lenses fitting, specifically, those for keratoconic patients and post corneal transplant patients. Dr LeRoy is very pleased with her decision to have pursued Optometry. The majority of her job satisfaction comes from meeting wonderful patients and working with her dedicated and amazing staff. She looks forward to many more years of professional and personal happiness.
Dr. Nazima Sangha, originally from North Delta, BC, earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from UBC and a Doctorate of Optometry from the Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon. After successfully practicing optometry in Richmond, BC for many years she has recently relocated to Victoria and, with great pleasure, joined the team at the Family Eyecare Centre.
