Review from Andy C.
People on Google are Goo Goo and Gah Gah over the Falls Incline Railway. I'm really at loss for why. It's a purely opportunistic money-maker, and at 2.50, it's a bit steep. Admittedly, it is convenient, and it serves its purpose for those that don't like walking.
Location: 4 out of 5
I guess if you want to get quickly from the Fallsview Area to the Table Rock welcome center area, it's not that hard to find. Once you're at the corner of Portage and Fallsview Blvd, walk down towards the falls and you'll see the Railway.
Amenities: 3 out of 5
It's not even a real "railway." Rows of metal seats are inclined in a little car. You go down the hill in about a minute. There is no in-seat service. There is no in-flight menu or movie. You just ride down.

Depending on where you sit, you can get a pretty good shot of the falls.
Price: 1 out of 5
2.50 to ride this jalopy down the hill for one minute? I'd rather you give me a plastic garbage bag so I can slide down the hill. Honestly - if you can't bring yourself to walk down Murray St because you are otherwise just plain lazy, go ahead and pay me 2.50 per person, and I will happily drive you down the road. If you are frail, fragile, or a small kid, I support you taking this railway wholeheartedly. It'd most likely be free.
Customer Service: 2 out of 5
Wow, thankfully someone took my 2.50 so I could hand my "ticket" to the person who told me to get on the car. And good thing that my trip down was a guided tour...not. Honestly - they could do the same thing by just having people insert cash or tokens into a self service kiosk, and just have one person running the whole operation.
Hours of Operation: 2 out of 5
Sucky. On the first weekend in April, it closed at 6pm. REALLY!? I mean...just in case I want to see the light show at night after 6pm and I'm eating at the Applebees, how ELSE am I going to get down there? That's right - I'd walk like a normal human being. But if you're going to go ahead and gouge people for money, why not do it all day?
Overall: 3 out of 5
Would not recommend if you are traveling alone, or with an active partner. If you are traveling with children who can't walk fast, or those that are more fragile, this would be an excellent choice. Remember that you can take strollers, but that it's not wheelchair accessible. At 2.50 per pop, you'd think they could figure out how to retrofit the car, right? Yeah, you'd think....
