Since we didn't get into "Lets Bowl" bowling alley, we opted for either laser tag or Fairview Lanes. Tired of driving more in the fog we all agreed that this was our option as it is only blocks away from "Lets Bowl".
As predicted since their competition is so radical with glow in the dark lanes and bowling balls, this place was dead. It is obviously a remnant of the 90s or even the 80s, with its simple lanes and old skool seating, there is a back area with pool tables I will give them that and service is friendly.
We took up 2 lanes at $40 a pop and were able to play for an hour, even without all the bling and blang; it was still quite an enjoyable play. The balls are really small here though it feels like you are lawn bowling but the hour goes by just enough to play 2 full rounds with 5 people.
I ordered a couple of beers, a coke and some nachos for under 20 bucks and let me just say these were the most pathetic nachos I have seen, I mean it was served on a Styrofoam plate with the plastic container of the nacho chips still on the plate and that oozy orange cheese sauce. It couldn't been more obvious that it was ripped out of its plastic container, and thrown into the microwave then thrown on a Styrofoam plate.
All in all not the uber high tech bowling experience but still fun nonetheless. This location has around 30 lanes and it's pretty spacious. More spacious now with less clients but oh well, we got a chance to get our bowl in.
