This is the perfect place for a one-stop pedi/mani...or both!

I didn't try their waxing services, so I can't comment.

This is the perfect place to go if you are looking to get away from the standard nail salons which often smell, feel crowded and are basically acrylic applications.

This is what a manicure bar should be like. It's not a spa, but it's still a comfy place to get your nails and toes done and be treated well. The girls who were working there were quiet and friendly, and did a good job on both my hands and feet. The menu of services is standard, and relevant to what the business stands for. Don't go there looking for spa treatments and massages, it appears to be esthetics only.

I LOVE the look of the place - very vintage-inspired and cute-sy. Their promotions are also fun, and I'm looking to try more. Polish change seems to be inexpensive as well, with an added treat.

However - as I have seen others comment, a better/ more appropriate drying solution would be greatly appreciated.

    All-in-all I'd go back again.

The salon had a nice little shabby chic thing going and lots of product to purchase, if you're into that, but for the cost of the service, nothing about it is worth it. The pedicure was weak... feet are washed in a steel bowl with a few rose petals thrown in, they're shy about massage, about removing callus, about all of it, really. The filing/polish job was not impressive and with no dryer available, my nails smudged about 5 mins after I left.

The polish selection was weak and I ended up having them use my own. There was absolutely NOTHING remarkable about the manicure. Basically, at this place you're paying for the cottage look, the tea or martinis, but NOT the actual service.

You can get way more for way less at other spas. Like the other reviewers have said, service was very cursory and forgettable.

I didn't realize how much I didn't enjoy this experience until sitting down to write about it. Huh!

Have been here twice now for mani-pedis and love it. From the moment you walk in, you can just feel your stress level start to drop. The ladies are cheerful without being fake and the shabby chic decor is lovely. You feel like you're in a Parisian cafe. The front of the salon has jewelery and beauty products for sale. You can relax into a big cushy chair with lots of pillows with sipping on tea, book or magazine in hand. The ginger cookies are delicious! Great selection of colours for polish (OPI, Essie) and they do an excellent job. I think my last pedicure lasted over 3 weeks! Fantastic relaxing and unhurried environment.
Also, if you join their e-mail list, they frequently have special promotions (for the holidays, Mother's Day, Easter, etc.). It's great for gift giving.

I wanted to treat myself and get my eyebrows cleaned up.  Saw the store front and cute name and knew I had to try it out.  So glad I did.  The store is a great mix of being girlie and cottagey.  Mismatched whitewashed furniture and pink art (for sale I might add!).

They also have a chalk board that lists the choice of teas you can have.  I brought a coffee with me so I did not partake.  But another pedi fan had some in a pretty china teacup and believe they threw in a cookie with the deal too.

The really nice thing about this place - all staff are trained estheticians and they DO NOT do any acrylic nails.  So, it is not a nail sweat shop.  It is truly relaxing and was just like having a pedicure done at home.

I started out with the waxing.  Elizabeth was great.  My eyebrows were cleaned up and it was relatively painless!  The chair you sit in for your waxing is super comfy.

Then I moved onto having my toe nails done.  All instruments are super clean.  No foot razors here!!  You sit in comfy club chairs.  Small side tables next to you for rest your cup of tea or one of the many magazines on hand.

My toes are super pretty and my eyebrows are kept at bay.  Highly recommend!!  It would also make a great Yelp girls event!!

Firstly, the place is adorable! It looks like what my apartment would look like if I didn't suck at decorating....cute and french and chabby chic. The place is clean and the manicurists know what they're doing. I've been twice for mani/pedis.
As per usual mani/pedi places, they sit you down with plenty of magazines and a cup of tea. A nice leg massage, lotion and polish and you're off to get your nails done. The girls that do the work are cheerful and friendly, and think of the details like putting your rings on after the hand massage but before they've applied the polish and letting you pay in advance (nothing is worse than trying to pull out your credit card with freshly painted nails!). I've been 100% pleased with the results of my mani/pedis at this place.
So...why four stars and not five? Two reasons: One, the last time I went I brought a friend. Her experience was less than awesome. The girl clipped her a bit when cutting her cuticles (ouch!) and forgot to give her the leg massage/lotion on one leg. Secondly, their nail polish selection is significantly less than most other salons. So if you've got a trusty old favority polish, odds are it won't be there.
Nonetheless, if you're in the neighborhood or there's a groupon or something, go for it!
