Review from Alex P.
I don't love to sew, per se, but I do sew the odd dress or quilt and will tolerate the act of sewing for the end product. I pretty much get my materials exclusively from this Fabricland.
The store has a wide selection. Even with the selection I can't always find what I want, but usually in those instances I am looking for something painfully specific. They also have a pretty decent discount section, many patterns, and any notions you'd need for a basic project. Don't buy snaps from here, though, it's not Fabricland's fault but they just suck and fall apart.
The store is clean and well-lit; I've never gone home only to realize that the fabric I bought was not the right color. The staff are friendly and sometimes give you a bit of extra fabric without charging you!
One thing I've noticed is that fabric goes on sale often here. Buy a Fabricland membership... trust me, it's worth it even with just one trip. The membership starts off at 25 bucks or so in January but they reduce the cost halfway through the year (as they do it by year and not one year from purchase). I do most of my sewing in the summer, so buying the membership then, at half price, gets me massive discounts. And never buy fabric at full price!! Just watch the sales. I bet whatever you're looking at will be on sale sometime within the next month or two.
I love this Fabricland and would be lost without it. Seriously, it's great, and you should check it out! -

Being in a mall, you would think this store would be cramped or have a smaller selection that other stand-alone fabric stores, but they've managed to utilize every bit of space they have! I went in with an idea in my head for a costume for a play I'm involved with and left with the perfect fabrics, both on sale to boot.
I've always found the ladies on the floor to be incredibly helpful, and on my most recent trip, quite fun to joke with. They're very knowledgeable about the store and their craft and when I was lost amongst the sea of buttons, the same woman who had cut my fabric found me and gave me a quick tour of the different types available and what might be the most bang for my buck.
I really appreciated the way that everyone in the store kept me informed about my purchase and the membership available to me, (which I finally purchased and have found totally worth it already). It's worth the extra drive to the suburbs for the selection and service at this store! -

I went here to look for fabric to cover a headboard and I really didn't know what I was looking for.
I asked a sales lady for help and she was so super helpful. She walked around the store with me, picking out appropriate fabrics, cutting off samples and telling me prices and how much I would need.
She really went out of her way to keep me informed and I really appreciated it.
I will definitely be back. -

Who would of thought they had a whole store dedicated to fabric. I stumbled onto this place while at Millwoods Town Center and decided to walk around. I was overwhelmed by the amount of fabric they had.
I would imagine that this is heaven for anyone that is into sewing or knitting, making their on clothes, pillow cases and pretty much anything else that requires fabric. Although I was only browsing the staff was really friendly and pleasant.
The selection is actually crazy. Wall to Wall, counter to counter fabrics.
