I bought a living social deal for $200 to spend towards new glasses. And there's no way I would have ever visited this place before because its on the south side and I live downtown, but I went there not really knowing what to expect... I was super impressed! Everyone there was so friendly, and the place looked new and really clean, and big windows so it's nice and bright in there when you're trying on glasses... not some dingy fluorescent light, which is nice for a change.
The doctor was very professional and asked me all sorts of questions, very knowledgeable. I ordered new contacts and bought new glasses. I brought my best friend along to help me pick out glasses, and even the front desk lady came out and suggested a few. She was so funny, she wouldn't let me get ones that were frameless on the bottom because she said I'm too young and need glasses that are more "hip" haha, she was great! I picked a pair of Dior ones, and I love them!
The only downfall I would say is they don't have a huge selection of frames. Don't get me wrong, they have a massive wall, and another little wall, but there are other places that have a wider selection... sometimes that can be overwhelming though. But moral of the story is I had a great experience and would recommend this place highly :)
