I looked at several different eyewear stores before coming here. The sales woman was helpful, but not at all pushy. I came into this store 3 times before I committed to a pair of frames and I was never rushed.
At other stores many glasses are kept in drawers or behind glass so that you need someone's assistance to see them. The frames here are mostly all accessible (except for their vintage selection).
The prices are fair and I got their 2nd best quality lenses with frames for under $400.
The selection is good but a little on the funky side of things. Mostly plastic frames with interesting styles and colours.
When I got my glasses the woman took great care in fitting them to me correctly.
I could not be more pleased with the service here and with my new glasses. -

I was shopping with a friend for frames - she needs frames ASAP and I'm looking for frames in the near future. This was the third store we hit up, and it blew away the competition!
Loads of frames from Europe, Asia, etc. to fit all kinds of faces. The frames are also all classified as Unisex, which I think is pretty cool, too. There are a number of recycled plastic frames for you eco-conscious shoppers. My favorite part was that few of the frames were super designer-y in the vein of Juicy Couture/ Dior/Fendi flavour that just blast their brand and bling all over your face as if you're a billboard. The designs just speak for themselves, instead.
The proprietor really understands good fit, and gave my friend and I really good tips about glasses that a) suit her face and b) would be comfortable to wear. -

Wow I cant believe I can see again. I had top notch knowledgable service from Huddie the owner, and scored a pair of Persols from the free section of frames all you pay for is the lens. Her straight up opinion on the look was totally reassuring and a hit with my friends.
I will be back for some custom sun glasses, cause the Eye Candy in the shop is worth it.. -

I have never had so much fun shopping for glasses in my life.
I purchased my most recent frames in the winter of last year, but when I looked inside my case last night I was inspired to tell the world about this place!
Heddy and her staff are incredible. They humoured me as I tried on every single frame and gave me a straight up opinion about how they looked on my face. Purchasing glasses is a big deal, as I am sure we all know.. you don't want the wrong frames for your face shape or you end up looking like a tool. I felt completely comfortable having them recommend styles and sizes to match my face.
They were also extremely knowledgeable regarding the different lens types. I am pretty much blind so I need the fancy lenses to minimize thickness. Heddy went over all my options so I ended up getting the best lens for my crazy eyes but didn't end up spending a scary amount of money!
And just a little something to note.... they had a great Christmas promotion going on at the time. If you brought in x number of items for the food bank you received a discount on your purchase. Doing something sweet for the community and the customers is something I can totally get behind.
I will definitely be going back when it's time for my next pair. -

best selection in town! huge range of prices, so you can spend an arm and a leg... or not. the owner heddy and her staff are all quite helpful, but they don't impose their taste on you either. i even bought glasses in victoria (at a store owned by the owner's ex) and she had them shipped to her and fitted them on me. can't ask for much better service than that!

Such a great place, wonderful staff. The product selection is pretty good, from the more expensive, brand eyeglasses, to the cheap (and really cute!) ones. The girl who helped me was very knowledgeable, and fixed my broken eyeglasses in 30 sec. Definitely going to be back there again.
