Review from John R.
A great alternative to fast food burgers and subs. Extreme Pitta offers a different menu item than many, along with various delicious pitas.
I went here today for the first time for lunch and was very satisfied. I ordered a grilled chicken pita with lots of veggies and mustard to eat in. It was made in front of me very quickly, and I enjoyed every bite of it. There was no one in the store at the time so I'm not sure how busy this place is but it was good to have a quiet lunch with some friends.
Recommended for someone who wants a change in fast food and looking for something healthier. -

For the price I feel like there are 1000 other places to eat first. $8 for a small 'Buffalo Chicken' pita that was not very tasty at all. But not bad if you are in a jam,.

The pitas are ok, but just ok, and way too small for the almost eight bucks you have to fork out for just for the pita. If you want a combo it's way over ten: RIPOFF! I think they would do much more business if they didn't blatantly overcharge.

Love, love, love this place!
For one thing, it brings character to the otherwise, dull, lifeless, mundane (you get the picture) Barrington street- you'll be cruisin' past all these old shops, many of which are closed up (and kinda freaky if you ask me...), then BAM! Extreme Pita is lively, and always a busy place for those seeking fast, quality food.
More importantly, the wraps are off the chain! They're made fast if you're in a hasty hurry, with fresh tasty ingedients that are actually good for you! And you can put away the Pepto-Bismol, 'cause the stuff here isn't greasy or undercooked like you might find under a Golden Arch or at certain pizza or chicken joints. Absolute plus! -

I went through a point in time where I was a Pita freak. Pita by day, pita by night. Working nearby, I had the veggie pita w/ hummus and mustard on my mind ALL the time. (Well, it was a repeated lunch option..) And so, in scaling the area for the best quick bite, Extreme Pita gets my vote.
Service is always super- friendly, efficient and affordable. The food is fresh and well put together. They carry lots of options on their menu if you're interested, and are always very accommodating to picky preferences. No complaints!
I've only ever gotten the veggie and its just plain tastier than veggie wraps at other places. Perhaps its the method of pita folding or the portions and sauce... I'm not sure, its all such a science. What I do know that Extreme Pita is delicious and a great place for something quick. -

Although walking amongst the papered up former shop fronts on barrington these days can be sort of depressing, Extreme Pizza beckoning from down the street lets you know that all is not lost.
Delicious fresh ingredients. Definitely worth a lunch time stop! A feel good stop at that with these delicious fixings. -

Extreme Pita rules the roost when it comes to freshness. For a quick healthy fix on your lunch break, there's not much in the area that can best Extreme Pita.
Extreme Pita offers a wide selection of made-to-order wraps, all with nutritional information posted so that you can make an informed choice. The ingredients are always at the peak of freshness and you can choose as many or as few toppings as you like.
My favourite sub shop will always be Ed's Sub but considering they don't have any outlets in Halifax, Extreme Pita runs a close second. -

Extreme Pita located on Barrington street corner was just what I need for energy to finish my review walking. Lite and delicious the chicken pita was tasty. With all that vegetable toppings that he could fit on it with a touch of light mayo.
Seating is available inside but today was so hot and me loving the sun I took it across the street to one of the benches. Tightly wrapped it was very easy to eat that goodness nothing fell out.
If you are looking for something different then the normal sandwich check out Extreme Pita as they have a wide variety of wraps. -

Extreme Pita takes Pita to a new level. Loving the idea of anything in a wrap it is a nice change from a traditional sandwich.
We had the chicken pita, I also saw someone eating a pizza pita, it looked good.
They have plenty of window seats for the viewing along Barrington. It is a busy spot. -
