Great shop! Many picture frames, trays, odds and ends decor. Great for gifts, all seem to be hand made. Whoever is buying for them seems to have an eye for quality.
Christy V. is right this is totally the place for host/hostess gifts. They don't sell anything that isn't useful in some way. They're not really things you must have, but when you do have them they serve a purpose. Not so in all other gift shops. -

I was very impressed with unique, high quality gifts available in Extraordinary. They do a great job of offering the perfect gifts for special occasions- things you won't find anywhere else. The owners are exceptionally kind and helpful.

If you are on the run, or seemingly at ease and just in the fun to buy a small gift, something different, the right "thing," then this is one place you should visit on Fifth Avenue in Brooklyn. The people who work here are very informative, personal and simply inviting. I found the perfect "heart" for a dear friend, as well as a great pen for the writer in my life. Prices are very, very competitive and the gift box, with gold BOW!, is icing on the cake! Love this place..........!!!!

This home accessories/gift store stays open until 10pm every day of the week. Forget about bringing flowers, chocolates, or wine as a host/hostess gift - now you can shop for fine pottery and dishware just before that dinner party and the staff here will even wrap that special gift for you on the spot. The set-up of this small, narrow space is very vertical - floor to ceiling shelves hold unique decanters, serving platters and tea pots. Extraordinary's original shop is on East 57th in Manhattan.
