Is it just me, or has their selection of gaming magazines seems to have faded over the years? That's the main reason I come to Extra Extra when I'm around the U of Alverta campus, the video game and tech magazine. I would come here a few years ago and they would have tons for me to choose from. Now? Not so much.
And Paula is right, the place does get very cramped like most of the store in the Hub Mall. -

Extra Extra is one of the first stores I started frequenting at HUB Mall, even before I was a student at the U of A. It is a small newsstand with magazines and newspapers from North America and around the world. I always found the selection be good, and purchased quite a few music magazines here. It also sells cold drinks and snacks like chocolate bars and chips. The store is very small and gets cramped when it is busy so best not to hang out there too long reading the magazines.

I always like to stop by Extra Extra on my way to the train station for a snack or a magazine. The same woman always works there, I think she is the owner. She's very nice and always has info and opinions on all the magazine covers.
