Exotic Nails is right down the street from my apartment, so I've been going here to get my nails done for a while now. The staff is friendly and they've always done a good job with my manicure and pedicure. There is sometimes a wait if you go on a busy night without an appointment, but I've never been turned away.
About $35 for a mani/pedi - bring cash for your tip! -

I went on Friday night around 4:40 or so and the girl I had was at station 7 (if anyone from the salon reads these, they might be able to pin point this girl). SHE WAS TERRIBLE. We all know a mani (w/Shellac) and a pedicure is NOT cheap. Not even joking, I was in and out of there in 40 minutes. So, I just spent $50 (without tip) for 40 minutes of service? Now that's IS a joke.
First, she rushed me into findind a color. I like to take some time figuring out what color I want on my hands for the next 2-3 weeks!! Then, she sped through my pedicure, harldy even touching my cuticles. A 2 minute massage, and BAM, Im finished.
Second, my nails. A minute in the water, a few clips here and there of the cuticles, and she was painting away. She did a nice hack job on my cuticles to boot.
I am not a picky person in the least bit. I will go to a nail salon if they show interest and take their time. The inside of this place looks great, hence the 2 stars.
This goes to show you how ONE person can ruin it for the rest. I won't return to this place. -

Not a fan of this place. Always get the look up & down. I asked a girl where she got her shirt and she told me with laughter and started speaking Chinese to the girl next to her. It gave me that awful~ they are talking about me feeling. Also another time I was there I got a pedi and the woman zipped threw it so fast I watched as she skipped over steps the lady next to me got! Her tip got lower.
So now I'm at the mall check out the store the shirt the girl had an it was expensive. Ding ding knew right then they were saying, I couldn't afford it. I'm not going back here but want to just to wear that shirt!
**update I'm a glutton for punishment cuze they are open Sunday's. I went again... I always get pedi's and NEVER had a problem. I have a messed up toe from a accident. I always politely ask them not to scrub it. She nodded and I closed my eyes. I was quickly risen from relaxed state to find her clipping at my toe with those big ass clipper things! I have a skin graph! You never do that! She couldn't understand why I was upset.
Update 2 months later my toe is still sore! And hurts!
Don't bother with this place! -

I had my nails done by Kathy. She was very nice and I thought did a good job. I had the gel polish by OPI.
Well, one of my nails chipped after a week. I went in to get it fixed and Kathy acted as if she never saw a broken nail before. She was really rude and accused me of cutting my nail. I said I did not cut it, what was the difference, I needed it fixed.
She fixed it, (of course I expected to pay, my nails break frequently) but with an attitude the whole time. She was not chatty, like the first time I had them done.
I will go back to the salon, because they have OPI, but will not give my business to Kathy. -

it's your typical nail salon but this one is cleaner and bigger. they greet you by your first name and ask you the same questions you always get asked when you get a mani and pedi- "you have a boyfriend?" or they find something about you or on you to offer you a compliment- "i like your sweater."
price is good and they do a good mani. -

I love going to get my nails done here! they always are nice and actually remember me and what i'm up to. I'm actually going in a couple hours with my mom. We love going to get pedicures here where we can relax. Plus its super clean!!!

I like this nail salon because it's close to my apartment and they did a good job. They still didn't have a lot of the new colors and a pedi was $23 - but all in all I thought it was a good experience.. and I'll definitely be back since it's right around the corner.

I went to this salon yesterday for a mani-pedi and I had the worst girl ever. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the salon seemed nice enough and the guy who said goodbye when I left seemed nice. The girl I had (table 5) was nasty! I will definitely be exploring other nail salons. There is no need to experience this rudeness! I am typically a good tipper but her personality and attitude was so bad, I could get out the door fast enough!

Not the best selection of polish - but they do great work and are nice girls.
