Do NOT go to this store. My daughter bought a pretty expensive watch there last month. First the moon dial did not work. Then she noticed the strap was falling apart. She took it back, and the sales woman said, oh it's just a reproduction of a vintage watch, it's not supposed to work. Oh, and the strap is the one that was on it in the display so people have been trying it on. Right. After some prodding, she did give her another strap. Then, the watch stopped all together the next week. We took it to the best watch store in Halifax, where they tried to fix it with a new battery (you would think a brand new watch purchase would not have a dead battery in it) and this too worked for two days and then it stopped cold again. We took it back, and he had to completely replace the entire guts of the watch. The watch was expensive enough that with the added cost of the total rebuild, this made it way past the budget of my daughter's gift purchase in the end. The store policy is " no returns, exchange only." So, if you want to buy a watch for probably more money than it would cost at another store, and then have it malfunction or not work within a week, and have no recourse to return it, go for it. Our watch guy said these people obviously know nothing about watches.
