EuroMax carries a wide variety of eastern European foods and treats.
Growing up in Oshawa (large Polish and Ukrainian community), I have missed these kinds of stores. Stores where a gal can get her cured meat, pierogies and cabbage rolls.
The whole back wall of EuroMax is deli. YES!!! A meat lovers delight!!!
I bought a cake when I was in EuroMax recently. I was going to a family lunch, and decided to pick up their "Nut Buster" cake. This cake was fantastic! Nuts galore (peanuts, cashews, hazelnuts) a top a chocolate cake. A yummy crowd pleaser!!!

It's not a bad little bakery. The service is incredible if you speak Polish or Ukrainian. Did I mention I don't. The prices are not that bad and the service is kinda so-so. Did I mention that I don't speak the language?
Anyway. Their saving grace, in my opinion, is that they carry really good Perogies in their freezer section. If I go back, it will be for those and that's it. Sorry EuroMax, I probably won't be by again anytime soon.
