Review from Don B.
If you're stuck out in BFE at Gate 96 (or thereabouts) and you need anything to eat or drink, this is your sole option. It's listed as a "Deli" because it really defies any other type of category. I guess maybe "Convenience Store" would work, because that's really more what this is. But they have hot food too.
Drinks for your flight, snacks, sandwiches, maybe some soups, beer, whatever. They have it. The sandwiches are your typical prepackaged style, but they'll heat some up for you if you need some warm in your belly. This outpost is way on the fringe of the airport and this location is reflected in the demeanor of the staff. As with the tone of the gates, a general malaise hangs in the air. It's underwhelming.
But I fly out of these gates often and it's more convenient for me to snag a bottle of water or whatever snack here than somewhere else (which then has to be carried on my death march out to these crazy far gates).Listed in: Oh Canada...., You're So Fly...
