Euro Baguette is a really great sandwich place inside the Loeb Cafe at Carleton University. It's below tunnel level, and has a bunch of tables for eating and studying.
The Loeb Cafe is actually a bunch of restaurants. There's Pizza Pizza, a noodle bar and grill, Italian food, coffee stand, and Euro Baguette. There's a decent selection of food to order, both hot and cold, but I like Euro Baguette because it's one of the only fast-food places on campus that make baguette sandwiches. You'll find more pita wraps around campus, or even those plain sandwiches made with Wonder Bread. Euro Baguette has freshly baked artisan breads - white or multigrain baguettes, which you can order half or whole. My favorites are a toasted multigrain baguette with roast beef, cheese, and pesto sauce, and the Thanksgiving baguette with turkey, cranberry stuffing, and gravy on white bread. Really awesome sandwiches! They'll cost more than your other Loeb Cafe choices, but they'll really satisfy you're craving for a heartier and a little fancier sandwich.
