Mmm Eugenes! I used to go to the now closed Broad street location to get my gyro fix. Finally made it out to this location on a recent trip. The gyros were as yummy as I remember! Soft pita, creamy tzatziki, mmmm. The meat didn't stand out, but when the tzatziki is that tasty, it doesn't have to.
My one complaint about this place was the service. It's cafetaria style, and we waited quite a while by the counter for someone to take our order. The whole time we could hear the staff chatting and laughing in the back room. But once we put our orders in, our food was ready quickly.
One other odd thing, was my friends ordered the greek salad, and it arrived with separate piles of tomatoes and cucumbers. Strange. Regardless, they had no complaints about the taste.
