The raw food restaurant/bar is fantastic and great value.
The produce is also fresh and very reasonably priced. My favorite place to shop for fruits and veggies when I'm in Vancouver!Listed in: Vancouver Eats

I had a major craving for raw food, so I dragged my mother down here. It's a bit confusing layout and even though there are menus on the table, we had to walk up to the bar to order our food. I had the spicy mexican wrap with a kale caesar salad, my mother had a soup and salad combo, and we each had a small juice, then I had the raw uncheesecake (acai flavor).
Everything was really delicious, but my mother's portion was a bit more substantial than mine. It's a bit pricy, considering the ambiance (which is rather lacking), with our food totalling about $50, not including any gratuity. I'll definitely go back, but it wouldn't be my very first choice.Comment from Alexandra B. of Eternal Abundance 4/13/2011

Great vegan food. Best borscht and cabbage rolls I've ever had. I always feel great eating here, as I know everything is handmade, organic, and simple - yet extremely delicious.
The cafe, which is actually called The Truffle, is tucked back behind all the organic produce of Eternal Abundance. There is a small bar seating area, one large table, and two 2-seater tables up front. I think a cozier cafe setting may benefit the Truffle, as it's a little bit hidden.
The Truffle offers an all vegan, half cooked, half raw menu. Highlights, other than those I already mentioned, are the raw burrito, the coconut curry soup, chili, and mouthwatering gingersnap cookie.
If you're vegan, vegetarian, a raw foodist, or just want something plain old healthy, this is one of the best! -

Some of the best raw food I have ever had. Loved the food .Creative and delicious. Its like a bar setting in a grocery store.
Anyone interested in raw food must visit.
The service wasn't the best or I would give it 5 stars.
- The girls that work there do not speak English or French.
- And each time you order something you have to walk up to the cashier and pay there and come back and eat it at the bar. Defeats the purpose of the bar setting ,no?!
I would go back there. In VAncouver there isn't much choice when it comes to raw food eat outs. -

I can't believe I wasted $10 on a small bowl of carrots & zuchinni with a tiny bit of sauce which was randomly named "pad thai." Someone got something else that looked decent, but I am definitely not going back to give away more of my money.
Specialties
Eternal Abundance is an all-organic produce market, providing fresh fruit and vegetables and a selection of dried and canned foods.
Inside the market nests Rooted on the Drive Cafe, an all organic vegan cafe offering a wide assortment of dishes, all of which contain wholefoods, most are wheat-free, and many are raw. We always have at least two soups, hearty chili, cornbread, a grain bowl with steamed veggies, and buckwheat pancakes. The raw menu includes a fabulous veggie burger, spicy Mexican wrap, falafel, nori rolls, zughetti, an awesome kale caesar salad, chocolate truffles, crackers, and several desserts, with plans to expand. There are also cookies, crumbles, pies, etc., as well as smoothies and fresh juice.
We also host a variety of events, including movie nights with conscious/healthy-living topics, monthly reggae nights, guest speakers, etc.
Under new ownership since October 2010, we have an expanded menu and cafe area, and plans for extended hours including weekend brunch
