I have always had nothing but great tea/coffee at this Esquires! I have always had nothing but excellent service at this Esquires! Some great little gift type of things there too which I took advantage of during Christmas! Comfortable and friendly! A bonus is that they have an ATM!

One of the coffee shops off the beaten path. They used to do well but most locations have died in the last couple of years.
There is parking available in the back, as well as on the street after 1800.
Wi-fi is available. However, certain parts of the coffee shop don't have electrical outlets.
Coffee is decent, and service (I always see the same Korean girl) is friendly.
They do have a patio, which is nice in the summer. -

My favourite neighbourhood coffee shop when all I want to do is work and people watch alone.
the room is spacious with a lot of bench wall seating and there is a large comfortable patio that always catches the sun.
free WIFI which is loudly advertised
I've spent ENITRE days here, from open to close and feel comfortable making it my second office
-coffee quality used to be better (they used to have a drip coffeee better than crack), but as of late there's something funk with the coffee and it just takstes a little overdone/overroasted.
-espresso based drinks are still good and I must say they have a pretty unique chai- a very mild one that is unique in its own right.
-nice sweets case, but my love for the biscotti has limited my ability to try other things
-service staff very friendly- they know regulars. -

Nothing really special about the place as far as coffee and food, but the owner is what keeps coming back. He manages to remember a vast number of people's names and things about them. Really nice guy and gives warm and great service to his customers. Free internet.

I've been visiting this location semi-regularily for the past 3 years I've lived nearby. The owner is always friendly and pleasant. I've got my usual drink, and even though I skip a week or two the staff still know what I'm ordering. I manage a competing cafe myself, but I think this place is great. The only reason it's not a 5 star would be the espresso drinks can sometimes be off. The quality of the coffee itself though is absolutely great and they offer a nice rotating selection from day to day.

Nicely located on the corner of 16th and Oak, Esquire's Coffee has all the usual cafe goodies - lattes, teas, and snacks. This place isn't especially artsy or ambient, but it's friendly enough and has nice, clean vibe to it. It's a good choice if you have a latte craving after your pilates class down the street.
