Review from Eric B.
The Eskimo Museum is located on one of the side streets of Churchill. It is an easy walk from just about anywhere in town.
The outside of the building is rather plain. But step in inside and be prepared for a surprise. The history, life and times of the Eskimos and the Inuit are told through the art work and the tools used by these native people. There are excellent displays of whale bone, ivory and soap stone carvings.
Admission is free, although they accept donations. It also has a very nice gift shop selling among others, books about the area and genuine Inuit carvings. I found my best souvenirs here.
