I think that vets get a bad rep, kinda like hospitals. For the most part, people only go to hospitals when they are sick - same with pets and vets.
I recently had to put down my dog and we went to Ermineskin Veterinary Clinic to do it (it was also where we took her for shots and check ups).
I wish I could say we had a good experience but no matter where we were, I was going to have bad experience - I had to say goodbye to my baby after 13 years.
The staff was nice to us and the nurse was understanding. The vet himself seemed to be void of all emotions but I guess that would make the job easier.
It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do.
It could have been a lot worse if the staff weren't nice and understanding though.
