Excepting one experience, the Enterprise at this location is deserving of five stars. They are punctual, efficient, friendly, and courteous. Things I like:
- can reserve online
- courtesy call one day prior to reservation
- offers upgrade at pick up if available
- can return vehicle even when location is closed
- easygoing and friendly staff
- top notch vehicles that handle well
My only complaint is a one time incident when we made reservations for an important event and were notified approximately 30 minutes before pickup that no vehicles were available. This put us in a difficult position as we could not be late for the event and were scrambling to get another vehicle at the last minute. A better notice policy would give this place five stars. -

These people took every chance they could to rip us off. We were charged more than twice what we were quoted when we made the reservation. Also for international travelers, if you do not have a credit card (not debit or ATM card but credit card) then you can not rent a car from enterprise. Try another company that is honest to the customer like Alamo or National.

Enterprise Car Rental on Granville overcharged me by $117.50. When I went in to see about a refund, I was treated like my business didn't matter, and they said they would refund me in 15-30 days as per their "policy". When I was accidentally overcharged by the Enterprise Car Rental location in North Vancouver, they refunded me immediately. I explained this, and got increasingly annoyed when the manager continued to tell me it would take 15-30 days. When I demanded my money, he told me to "calm down and take a walk". When I told him I would not be renting from him again, he said he "didn't care" and "I didn't matter" to them. I don't matter? I've been renting cars from Enterprise every weekend for the past several months. Please don't ever give this asshole your business. I sure won't be.

There are several contributing factors to why my experience with this Enterprise location has been a positive one.
Initially I went to rent a car on a Wednesday only to have the Enterprise employee point out that my Ontario license had expired. Fortunately he directed me to the BC transportation offices where I was able to get my ON license transferred over. By the time I got this taken care of, it was too late to rent the car for that day and Enterprise was happy to push my reservation to the next day.
Then the next day I pushed my reservation back a few hours because we decided to leave a little later on in the day. They again were happy to adjust the reservation.
When I went to pick up the car, I mentioned to them that I was going to try to get the car back by the same time I was picking it up (in order to avoid being charged an extra day for showing up a few hours late). I wasn't sure if I was going to be held up at the US/Canadian border on my return. The guy put a note on my file saying not to charge me until after 3pm (when they close). So even if I brought the car back a little later, as long as I got back before closing they were going to let the extra couple of hours slide. This was awesome. I wasn't as stressed out driving home because of that.
When I dropped the car off they also adjusted my bill downwards $10 because I had a little bit more gas in the tank than when I picked it up.
So overall, a very positive experience. Well done Enterprise. -

Picked up our rental car on a Friday afternoon, short walk from our hotel (the Sheraton on Burrard). Couldn't have been a more pleasant car rental experience. The staff was extremely friendly and gave us some great suggestions as well as mapped out a few drives for us. Gave us a couple bottles of water, bonus! Returned our car on Monday morning, again staff was wonderful, transaction was simple. Would definitely rent from here again.
