This place keeps me alive.
This place keeps me happy.
I love this place.
I don't know how to give this place a proper review. I've had massages from RMTs at different places in Vancouver and in my travels through China, Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines. I'm always looking to get a massage on vacation. But...
Somehow, this place tops 'em all.
Affordable by Vancouver standards-- depending on the package that you are purchasing and the tip you leave, a one hour Chinese pressure point massage will set you back between $25 to $40.
This pressure point thing is unlike anything else I've experienced. It's hard to compare with deep tissue, Thai, hot stone or whatever massage, but in my opinion...it's better.
I have someone I normally go to who is, as far as I'm concerned, the most amazing masseuse on earth. I just had a massage and she found every pressure point on me from head to toe. I'm no masochist, but the pain was unbelievably good. My body is back to working order now after a much needed visit.
The place also smells good (I think that helps in relaxation=). It's basic-- not a spa, but very clean and comfortable. -

Interestingly, I had thought I had written a review here already.
My friend brought me here to get a massage and it was quite good.
It does vary dependingon who you get and like Michelle has written, if you have someone you like, you keep asking for that person again.
It's affordable and you can get package deals.
You have to call ahead, in case they're busy, which is usually the case.
If you get a package deal, it does save you money.
I brought Yasuyo here and she was impressed notcing the techqniques were the ones that she usually uses. She had a male masseur and was left quite happy I must say.
