This is a great theater, especially for families on a budget. We really enjoyed our experience and for me and my son for our tickets, popcorn, drinks and candy (and HST) for two, I only spent $28 on a Tuesday night. I will be heading to University Cinema 4 more often, good and easy parking, very spacious seating and great service.

I love this theatre because it always shows great movies and is cheaper than Silver City. It is so easy to meet friends there because it isn't too big. We like to get a gyro from Eugenes Greek restaurant first and then go to the movie. If we have to take the bus home the bus stops right there. They also really good popcorn!

The old theatre at the University Heights Mall apparently offers a little more than I thought. After concluding that I would have to wait for the rental version of Up, because it was playing in 3D only and that doesn't fly with my migraine prone self, a turn of events proved me wrong. My boyfriend had planned out a surprise date night and unbeknownst to me he had done his research and found a theatre that doesn't offer 3D. Good old University Cinema 4. Granted the place could use an overhaul and the previews were flipped on the screen, "sllabtaem fo ecnahc a htiw yduolc," looked awesome! Ahh, but this is the most spacious theatre for leg room and now I have a place to go when I want to see a flick in non-3D.
