We came here because my in-laws wanted geoduck and they advertised their geoduck for only about $15 in the Chinese newspaper Sing Tao Daily.
My father-in-law got pissed because they said that the advertisement for frozen geoduck and the fresh geoduck would be more (and because he felt that the waiter was looking down on him). We ended up ordering the geoduck (and paid the extra $10 to have it done two ways, with the $10 being something my father-in-law was pissed about). We also ordered half a crispy chicken and some vegetables.
I can't attest to whether the waiter looked down on my father-in-law but the meal was pretty good (I later heard that geoduck always makes for a good meal). We first had the geoduck in a soup which tastes smoky and like the sea to me. Tasty! We then had the geoduck sliced up and stir fried which was also tasty. The chicken was tasty with crispy skin, good chicken taste, and the meat wasn't dry. The vegetables were a disappointment and didn't have that fresh vegetable taste. We had a hard time finding good fresh vegetables in the Vancouver area (with a few exceptions).
Overall, the meal had the style and flavor (except for the vegetables) you would expect from a good Hong Kong restaurant but this one is in Vancouver. We ended up being only charged the lower price for the fresh geoduck as well.
