Yay! I love going to a movie on "Real Deal Tuesdays" at Empire 6. It's never over crowded on the early show so you don't have to line up like a kid at a school cafeteria.
I was kind of dreading all the special effects aspect of tonight's film but in this older cinema I can watch a blockbuster with out having my ears blasted or my eyes bulged out of their sockets.
Some theatres just blow me away too much. The screen can be so wide, I feel like you can never get far enough back, or the sound is so loud you wish you brought ear plugs. Not at the Empire 6 everything is just right.
The seating is comfy, the popcorn is crunchy. -

I disagree with the previous reviewer. I usually avoid this theatre because of the poor sound quality. If I want mediocre sound I'll stay home and watch on the plasma. I haven't been here in a long time, but I'd be happy to learn that they've improved the sound and projection quality.
