If only I was lucky enough to have a wedding at this exquisite space. It has the amenities of a raw space, yet comes furnished with a bar and elegant banconette seating. The best of both worlds - the luxury if using your creativity to bring a room to life without the limitations if ugly hotel carpet, but also provides the necessary items you face when building an event from the ground up.
Every event I have attended here has been such a beautiful production varying in style, taste, and even decor. The sleek furniture and warm in-house up-lighting colors make the room really come together but don't obstruct from whatever scene one is trying to create. There is also an elevated space conducive for a live music performance or a kick-ass video production synchronized with a DJ.Listed in: Party Planning Picks

Great venue and space, awesome for a party.
The 4 stars is b/c I recently went to an event from Gilt called Sassy Chicks and it was okay. I was disappointed b/c there were like less than 15 vendors and the wax/massage/manicure like was crazy long like one hour and a half.
I did get a really pretty bracelet from this one vendor called...um, Gemelli Jewelry.
Anyway, I would come back for someone's party, but not another Gilt event. -

This is an event venue for parties and weddings. We were floored at the style. Brilliant style and design!!!
They call themselves "Chic." More specifically, its a modern and contemporary style. It has cantelevered ceilings over several conversation areas, a HUGE dance floor, a separate "ceremony" room and larger reception / dance hall. It's big. I dunno how big, but its big.
We had a blast at their opening party. Huge congrats on a swank new venue in Dallas!!

eM The Venue was created and founded by chef, entrepreneur, and event designer, Marc DePetris. Also the owner and founder of Marc Events, located in the Dallas Design District. Both spaces are known for their fun, loft style atmosphere, featuring several built in lounge areas, custom lighting and a full service catering team on site.
