Review from Jennifer L.
Toronto, ON
I should expand on my review. I've been here several times over the past few years. I was never much of a spa person til I stepped foot into this place.
Sonja is superb. She gives the most amazing massages and facials. She is a funny and lovely person to chat with. She's given me great advice on what home concoctions I can make myself to use on my face. I feel so relieved and relaxed after a treatment here.
It's a very small and quiet place. The spa can only accommodate two clients at a time, which is great because it makes it all that more intimate, relaxed and quiet.
All their products are 100% natural and organic. No chemicals. This really says something about what we choose to put on our faces and bodies day to day. A friend of mine who was suffering from acne, took an esthetician's advice on what foods to avoid and she hasn't broken out in a pimple since.
Do sign up for their mailing list and get on their twitter feed, facebook, etc. They have great combo deals every month at reasonable prices. Keeping within their social media loop will allow you to know of last minute specials on facials and you'll also get great tips on natural ways to take care of your precious skin. So precious!!Listed in: Sweet Relief

Review from Alicia C.
Not worth the effort or the money to go to Elixir. I've been to many other great spas in Toronto for the same price - but much better service. I went to Elixir as I had purchased the Groupon earlier this year. The whole treatment was uncomfortable and not at all explained. I felt like the esthetician was in a rush the whole time and wasn't concerned about my comfort. Would not recommend.

go to their website to see their special of the month. there, they might have some good deals. better yet, try to sign up for their mailing list since they have some great promos...
I was in yesterday, for a facial and a pedi. Facial was done by Sabrina, a quiet but very strong woman. She squeezed blackheads out of me, with such natural force. Damn painful as it was happening, but my face maybe looked great, and definitely felt noticeably better as I washed it.
One current incentive is to refer a friend, so that you both end up with a free pedicure. My mom and I enjoyed this part, too. They cut our nails into shape, filed, trimmed, all the reg. stuff. Plus, they finished it off w/ vegan animal-friendly polish - over 20 shades to choose from.
My mom had friendly Sonja, who also did a good job on the facial, btw.
I'd be happy to return!
p.s. I found Elixir by googling "natural facial Toronto". They use all-natural, all-organic products.
Costs a pretty penny for their services, but like I said, they do offer some great promos... Not that you'd need too many facials in one year.Listed in: Best of's :)

Wow this place was disgusting, pink bacteria all over the sinks in the treatment rooms and I saw one of the girls use my facial towel to wipe down the floor. yuk! I won't be back. The woman at reception wasn't very nice either.
