Friend: "I'd like a milkshake"
Waitress: "I'm really sorry, but I can't get you one. We don't have any milk. And my boss won't let me buy more milk because he wants to do his trip to the discount grocery store".
Friend: "Really? What if I bought the milk?"
Waitress: "Sorry, I know it sucks, but he'd get mad."
It got better.
Friend goes to the washroom. Realizes that no stall has toilet paper, so she texts each and everyone of us to bring her toilet paper. Waitress lets us know that they don't have toilet paper either, but that she stole a roll from the men's washroom.
It has the *strangest* decor though, and wasn't the 'cool diner' that we hoped it would be, despite being open since 1927. -

This is a strange restaurant. First off, my gtamma banned us from going to this place. Ever since it changed ownership. We went any way. "don't tell grams".
8 of us ate there.
The menu wad pretty big.
I had the Fish burger. It was a glorified fish fillet.
The fries were cold & kinda greasy. I ate them all anyhow.
The gravy was thick and salty.
The service was ok.
The topper was when I went to the washroom, there was a plant in he urinal!
Of course I peed on it. So did my son.
They could do so much to make this place a better experience
They need chef Ramsey.
I would think first about eating here again because its strange and i dont want to piss off gramma, but there really isn't much in Penticton. -
