PROS
- Sauna & Steam room right beside the hot tub.
- Good sized wading pool for kids.
- Mildly entertaining slide.
- The hot tub is actually hot most of the time and has some pretty powerful jets.
- Good, attentive lifeguards.
- Well equipped gym.
- Day care center.
- All purpose room that always seems to have something fun going on in it.
- Dollar swim between 7 and 9pm on Mondays (it gets stupid busy, though)
- Located a little bit off the beaten path (which means more regulars, less idiots)
- Easy to get to on transit.
CONS
- Deep end is not big enough.
- No diving boards.
- Change rooms tend to get dirty.
- Change rooms are not big enough.
- Dollar swim Mondays (stupid busy, more idiots, less cleanliness)
- Gym is not big enough and tends to have a funky BO smell about it.
I've been going to this pool for almost 10 years and I will continue to go here. The positive out weigh the negatives. -

Facility: excellent. Aquatics programs: could improve.
This facility is amazing, at least as far as the pool goes. The leisure pool is huge, as is the regulation pool.
It has an amazing steam room - large and always steamy (you'd be surprised how some steam rooms are not).
Ditto, the hot tub. Very large and spacious with good pressure from the jacuzzi jets.
However...
The evening fitness programs - at least the deep water aquafit - left me waiting to be impressed.
The classes were very small. The instructors did not seem to know that much about deepwater fitness, it seemed they were shallow water fitness instructors trying to lead deepwater classes. Believe me, there is a big difference.
I went there for a month, when one of the two pools I go to regularly (Bonsor) was closed for maintenance.
Despite the awesome facility, I wouldn't go back there. It's too far a drive at night for a less-than-impressive workout.
If it were just a bit closer, or the deepwater class was a bit better, I might go back...
But if wishes were sea horses, sea urchins would ride... -

I used to come here to play in the pool when I was a kid. It was literally one of the places I grew up. There are memories bounded to this place. I saw this place get renovated from the old style of ED pool to the new. But they only changed the reception's table and partial of the inside changing rooms....
I agree with Jasmine O. here that the receptionist are really snarky and bitchy. I still remember as a kid when they yelled at me. The new receptionist haven't changed at all. I still don't understand why the receptionist have to be snarky as they are the very first people we see when we enter the community center.
The lifeguards are very attentive to the dangers of the pool, which I am pretty grateful. The pool layout is lovely but it is a bit weird. The large slide is sooo awesome, it is so much fun, even at my age :o but wait, I am a child at heart :3 I love to come here during the summer especially from 5-6pm when the sun is shining in through the window and you can sit on the lawn chairs. They are located under the slides, and you can see the awesome view of confederation park/parking lot.
Overall the place is lovely and it is a great place to be!! The lifeguards are nice, the hot is huge, and there is also a steam room in the place :O OOOOOOOO :3 But the receptionist has GOT to get off their high horse and get back down to Earth. -

Oooooh yes.. you have no idea how happy I am to be the first to review this pool/jerk fest of a facility.
I have the option to have the school breaks off but I chose to work this spring break for many reasons... So in planning the 2 week adventures with the day camp I am supervising, I thought Eileen Dailly would be a good, fun field trip for the kids...
First off, while trying to book us a spot at the pool over the phone a few weeks ago, I got a bad attitude from a snarky lady. She snapped at me with every question she answered (um, hello, I'm just trying to see if my group of 25 kids can come to a public swim) and she kept trying to cut the call the short.
Today was the day our group was booked to go.. Not only did the counter staff yell at me and my kids, tell me to control or stop my kids from doing things normal kids do, but they also made every single moment outside of the pool as hard to bare as possible and rushed us at every turn. I have worked with kids for well over a decade and it's still stressful taking a large group anywhere. Thanks for making this harder EILEEN DAILLY!
On a better note, the life guards were pretty rad except for the one who laughed at one of my kids when he bashed his eye on an underwater step...Listed in: The LOST list
