Eggstasy was in walking distance to my place in Toronto, so I came here from time to time. It's half diner/half casual restaurant... I'm not sure if they've even decided their identity. There are plenty of egg dishes here, all of which come with 3 types of baggage (sides) - you can definitely carbo-load here since among the choices are toast, potatoes, fries, and pancakes... and then tomatoes and cucumbers. The omelets were always pretty good, but nothing to write home about. They also make their own syrup which is a maple syrup with cinnamon and coffee - still, I prefer regular maple. Unlike other breakfasty places, they're open until about 7pm, so you can have an early dinner here - and they do have meat and other more lunch/dinner friendly entrees.
Overall, the place is just fine, but I still prefer Over Easy and sometimes left feeling way too stuffed.
