I love public libraries, if only for their personification of utopian idealism. I begrudgingly acknowledge their underuse due to the local desire to avoid literacy and culture. Perhaps it is too socialist a concept for us to publicly share our collection of literary works and knowledge to allow equal access for all. This idea seems to almost spit in the face of the proclaimed benefits of private property and ownership.
Anyway, this location is among my favourites because it is quaint and you can get extra internet time if you ask for it. The staff are very friendly and helpful. -

I've been to this library a couple of times and really liked it. I was searching for old newspaper articles and found their periodical section very orderly, and easily found what I was looking for. Like most libraries, it's quiet here, but the nice thing, is the traffic is also fairly light, so there isn't the same in-out commotion of larger branches, so I guess you could say it's quieter than many libraries.
They also have a nice selection of audio and video here. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I also liked this branch because it was clean, new and very bright with comfy, big chairs. This is a great way to pass a few hours on a free afternoon, just you and words on a page. Sounds decadent to me! -

This is a nice library to study at. It isn't frequented by many people so it's nice and quiet.
If you are looking for books this place has a nice selection and it has a comfortable area for you to sit down and read. They keep it nicely maintained so it looks peaceful and allows for the same atmosphere. The staff is really helpful if you need help with anything and they are very friendly too.
It's better than most libraries just because it isn't filled with people. -

This is a pretty nice branch of Edmonton Public Libraries.
I had to do a presentation here and it went really well.
The library itself is not as big as some of the other branches but it's not as busy s other branches so it works out well.
The library is really nice inside and I found the staff to be very pleasant. They helped me find my way around and were very accommodating when I needed more chairs and some technical set up.
Over all, I had a really good experience here. I would definitely recommend this branch to anyone in the neighborhood.
