Ok ok, we're from out of town, we're not great climbers, and we don't deserve to have the first word on how this climbing gym is. I know there are some famous climbers setting the routes, and I probably can't appreciate their inventiveness. But whatever.
Catso and I went bouldering. The cost of $13 was not too bad considering the size of the place. I polished off a nice V1 and a very nice V2, and that was about all I could really do. The walls were very planar, the holds tended to be big. There were often moves that were reachy for me, and were impossible for Catso, who's 5'2". Compared to Berkeley Ironworks, you need to be stronger but not as balanced.
You probably can become a great climber at this gym, but it's not as fun as Berkeley Ironworks.
