Eddie's is a little out of the way since moving away from Whyte Avenue, but if anything the new purpose built location is brighter, airier and much more fun to shop in.

Eddie has a strong concentration on European (i.e. Victorinox, Alberto) and Canadian high-end causal and formal wear for men.  Once you're ready to join the white collar world and donate most of the basketball shorts and beer slogan tees, pop in and they can kit you out.  Their stock is fashionable but still timeless.

The best thing about Eddie's is that they've never lost any of the neighbourhood store, walk-in, casual friendly service they had in all those years just off Whyte.  You get low pressure, helpful, knowledgeable service (and that's important when tailoring is involved) from someone who you'll see the next time you pop in and who'll likely remember your name.

Over time, I've pretty much take all my suit business to Eddies from all the places down town and at WEM.  I couldn't recommend them enough.

Earl and the crew at Eddie's Men's wear are the best. They have slowly converted a price sensitive and fashion senseless guy, into someone who now gladly pays a lot for well made, Canadian made clothes. As someone who owns a small business, I understand the value of a local economy, and I appreciate a business which strives to provide Canadian, or at worst, European made products.

While you might pay more at Eddie's, you will receive the best service in town, be greeted by happy and friendly staff, and will leave looking your best, all the while knowing that you are supporting a Canadian economy, which pays real wages to hard working tailors.

You simply have to go and check them out.
