Review from Mandy N.

I only come to this spa place to get my waxing done.
I'm one of those people that if it's good once I would stick to it.
But this time it kinda disappointed me.
I got a full arm and leg waxing done by the same girl that I usually get it from.
The service was definitely quick, which is why I request for her. But this time we left me with some wax and a few areas of my leg still had hair on it.
She got my leg and arm done in about 32 mins. Which was great cause I had stuff to do after but when I asked her to recommend me a foot scrub she totally forgot about it when she was done waxing me. I assume it's cause she was almost done work but I felt she should have at least followed up or something. -
Review from Adam O.

I was realy dissappointed that I was given an attitude when I inquired with my esthetician as to what school she attended. I had a facial and she skipped the extractions as I only needed one impaction to be extracted. Maybe that's not a bad thing because they need to practice better cleanliness, after I spoke with a different staff member from eccotique in the food court, she said the estheticians are given minimum wage or commision whichever is higher not both. I felt realy sorry for them, I understand why they are'nt that happy there.

Review from Adrienne P.

Because this was a long review I'll put a summary at the bottom for easy reading!
Myself, my boyfriend and his mother went for facials as a group as part of the social shopping coupons. We thought it was a great idea, because I personally find the neighboring Eccotique Salon to be the best hair salon out there. I expected the same quality of service from their Spa partner. But apparently not.
First off, the booking was a disaster. My boyfriend tried to book back in February - and after much coordinating and talking, he managed to book for 3 people to go in to have facials at the same time. Three days before our due appointment, they called him back to say that they would not be able to have all three of us because of staffing shortages - so we said it would be fine to just book two of us that day, and cancel the third person.
But then, when my boyfriend called on the day of the appointment to confirm it, the receptionist then told us that she had cancelled ALL of the appointments. And of course, they could not accommodate us at any time that day. So he hung up to contact me and let me know the situation.
THEN (but wait...there's more!) I called back to book for two or three people (because who knew what they could do now!) and because they had deleted everything, I had to give every piece of information about each person again! The receptionist asked for the name of each person, first and last, and then asked me to spell it ten times. Then she asked for a separate phone number for each person (God knows why - We're all coming at once!)
SO. Finally. We got an appointment for three people. Phew. We arrived on the day, on time, and the staff greeted us in a friendly manner, and brought us back behind into the main spa area (away from the mall crowds.) They offered us the delicious Aveda tea, and we sat. And we waited. Our appointment was at 2:30, and we did not get into the rooms until 2:45. Then the staff left the room for another 10 minutes (which is typical for you to change and get under the covers etc.) So, it's like, 25 minutes into our appointment. And then the facial started.
I have only few complaints about the service itself. The products were very pleasant, good fragrances, and the staff did talk to each of us before the facial to ask us about our needs. However, they did not do any extractions - which as far as I'm aware is typical of every facial unless you request to opt-out. The esthetician also did not talk me through what she was doing at all - so when there was burning sensations on my face, I wasn't sure if that was normal, of if I would come out looking like a tomato head.
In the end, they finished up at about 3:25 - so, again, cutting the "60 minute" facial down to a 30 minute one. Over all, I remember there being about 4 products used on my face in total. One of them was warm water. Upon leaving, I also noticed there were still some exfoliants on my skin, and in my eyebrows.
(Almost finished here...) Once I was done, I went to the front to pay (and offer my coupon for the service) and the girl rang through the wrong person! I ended up paying too much tax (?) and then there was a kafuffle about me giving them my receipt back and them ringing it through again...or something. It was all very disorganized and confusing. Fortunately, I am not a tomato head in the end. But they certainly have a lot of improvements to make.
In Summary! :
Booking: 1/5
Cleanliness: 2/5 (the bathroom was a "back-of-mall" bathroom, not a spa bathroom...)
Spa Service: 1/5
Value for money (even at a discount!): 2/5
Product Value: 3/5 (Aveda is excellent product - but they didn't use very much of it!)
