What a beautiful place to have a wedding!
EastDell Winery has a lovely restaurant called The View, which overlooks a field of rolling vineyards and Lake Ontario in the distance. The restaurant is surrounded by a raised patio deck for plenty of outdoor dining space.
The food and service were incredible. Loads of staff on hand who were all very attentive, professional and polite. The wedding menu was a salad starter, prime rib followed by baked apple pie a-la-mode. Everything was excellent. Prime rib portion was huge!
The restaurant can probably seat upward to 80 for a wedding, perhaps more if they get a bit creative with the space. The wedding I attended had 68 guests and they still had space leftover for a small dance floor and room for a live band to set up.
The actual wedding ceremony took place about half a mile into the orchard. Guests were transported by bus to small valley surrounded by tall trees, it looked like something out of a fairy tale.
