I just read the last review with the very negative comments. How unfair! I've been to this restaurant twice. I did go when things were quiet - around 3pm. There is a young man who served me the first time - I believe his name is Chad. He is very friendly and entertaining. I enjoyed his good sense of humor. He obviously enjoys his job and is an asset to the establishment! Service at that time was slow, but not his fault. I don't know what was going on in the kitchen at the time. The restaurant was almost empty.
My second time today, I was served by a young lady who was very courteous and helpful. She did a good job. My meal was brought to me promptly. I had the same dish - seafood linguini which was excellent! I am a critic and considered to be a good cook! I do all kinds of ethnic foods. Anyway, it was very enjoyable. My only comment about the salad is the same situation I come across often in restaurants. Dark bruisied and wilted leaves sometimes make their way into the bowl, other wise the salads (and I did have both!) were good. Perhaps the mixed salad shouldn't be mixed too far ahead with the dressing - it tends to get a bit soggy.
The manager went out of his way to let me know what is put in the sauce for the seafood. I really appreciated that since I'd like to duplicate it at home. .
There was absolutely no odour detected while I was coming into the restaurant - I can't believe the previous critic made that comment. I suspect, if the place is busy - it could be the parmisan cheese! Never mind a locker room odour - get it right! Must be an American ( and so it was), We Canadians seem to be a little more sensitive about negative commenting! I'll be back again!!!! -

Horrible service, terrible smell, and bad food.
We walked in and were hit with the stench of a humid, dirty locker room. That alone should have had us walking out, but we were hungry and decided to give them a chance despite the odor. It took 5 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge us even though there were only 4 small groups of customers in the entire restaurant. It took another few minutes for someone to seat us. The rest of the experience went similarly. Rude workers and the worst Italian food anyone in my family has ever had. Take my advice and don't give this place a chance like we did. It will be a mistake. -

It was ok. Know what you want before you go here. I used to be a chef at various Toronto locations. Don't go here for Italian go here for allucaneat salad and soup. Other than that, meh.
