    It's always packed on weekend nights once the lifts start closing and all the thirsty boarders are coming down the mountain for a pint. That said, it's pretty hard to get a seat as this place is the only real bar near the creekside lifts, but the servers are usually really sweet, and the ribs are super tasty. Also the nachos are HUGE.

    Recommend for an appie and some pints after the slopes.

    Food = Mediocre
    Drinks = Weak / Overpriced
    Beer Selection = Bad
    Service = TERRIBLE
    Atmosphere = Loud, very very loud.

    Details:
    Went with two stars instead of one because the Ribs were actually pretty good. The other food was mediocre - not so terrible that I would go one star, its a two maybe three on food alone. The bloody marys had a ton of hype, and they weren't bad, but they were expensive. I've had better, I've had worse. The beer selection sucks, but I've learned that Whistler in general is not very into stong beers, IPAs, Belgians, Stouts, etc - They drink Keith's and Kokanee, so I can't fault dusty's for that, but their mixed drinks are pretty weak too. Its just one of those places where they are squeezing every penny out of you and measuring each pour with precision.

    Now, getting past the mediocre food, there is the service and atmosphere. Terr-i-ble. The music is so loud you can't hear yourself talk. Don't get me wrong, I love to party as much as the next guy, and I do, but I just freaking hate it when restaurants and bars over do it with music volume. \

    Ok - The service was just horrible and is the main reason for my 2 star rating. The server just disappeared for like 15 minutes at a time. Empty drinks all around the table. Took about 30 minutes to ask for the check and probably would have been another 30 minutes to get the credit card and receipt if we had not flagged the guy down after about 10 more minutes. They werent even that busy, they just really don't care. Apparently people just tip whether or not they provide decent service so the wait staff just doesn't give a crap.

    My advice - go to the brewhouse in whistler village or go to Roland's in Creekside. Roland's is a smaller place, less corporate, nicer staff, better food, better drinks, and you can actually have a conversation and hear what people say.

    Glaciers move at a faster pace than the service in this place. We waited a long time to order and we waited a longer time to get any food. I nearly pulled a Palin and went out to shoot a bear from a helicopter, we were that hungry.

    The deconstructed rib sandwich was average, I still can't eat meat really so gave half of it away. The wedges were good and the butt rub mayo was fantastic.

    The highlight of Dusty's has got to be the Caesar Salad drinks, a take on a bloody mary with clam sauce, served with a stick of shrimp, sausage and a green bean. Savagely spicy and at $15, it's half lunch, half cocktail.

    You know when your really hungry before or after your runs down the mountain, and you crave for those comfort foods that "hit the spot"? Some enjoy a good burger, others want French fries, hot chocolate, or even a beer?

    For me- it's French fries (always-so good, but so bad!) and a good cup of chili...

    Dusty's had my order right! But the rest of the party weren't as pleased.

    Service was all over the place, so-so... French fries had a hint of sugar that I was not expecting. My husbands burger was dry, he said "it seems like it was sitting there or a while" (Matthew). Others said, "the optional side choices were not optional or available".

    Overall, Dusty's did not "hit the spot"

    Sorry Dusty's...

    I was here once for apres, and once on a weekend night. During apres, it was pretty packed, but on a weekend night it was nearly deserted. Both times, though, I met interesting Whistler people by sitting at the bar and chatting.

    If you're just into getting a beer and chilling, Dusty's is good. If you want to go out in a more exciting way, go elsewhere.

    Dusty's, Dusty's Backside, Dusty's Bottom, Dusty Bottom.

    Whatever you call it, you can't and shouldn't miss it. Perfectly located right at the base of the Creekside ski lift, it's ideal for those after-skiing beers and food. As the other hundred people already there when you arrive will testify.

    Definitely the place to hang out in the Creekside area.  The place gets packed in the late afternoon when the apres ski party starts.  Lots of great beers, and good food.

    There's nothing like chowing down on some potato wedges from Dusty's backside after a hard day of skiing.

    Go for the potato wedges and award winning burgers, stay for the Creekside craziness and jugs of Kokanee.

    I should really write slogans for a living.

    This is the place to start when doing your duel mountain pub crawl. Get some fantastic french toast at Dusty's Backside and a beer when the mountain opens and get ready for a day of drunken snowboarding. Not that I recommend or condone drunken snowboarding, but if I did....

    Dusty's the bar is very friendly. Its wood interior makes the place seem a lot smaller than it actually is -- in a good way. The bartenders are always nice and the waitresses aren't bitches (a lot more than I can say for the GLC). The potato wedges really are fantastic. You must get a bucket. The burgers are supposed to be the best of the three mountain bars. This is do to the fact that they host the burger cook-off every summer and put the winning burger on the menu. The best of the burgers stick.
    If you end up in Creekside, be sure to get your Apre on either on the giant patio or inside the place.

    Came for lunch here after riding all morning and walked into a semi-busy restaurant.  Found a table with some people leaving and we stood around, wondering how we could get at it.  Since no one greeted us, we assumed that it was self-seating. Cool.

    Walk over and see a pile of messy food, utensils, plates.  Hmm...no busboy?  Continued to wait and just because impatient and we bussed the table ourselves so we could sit.  Finally this caught the attention of a waitress just as the last dirty napkin was moved.  She came by and wiped our table and took our order.

    Steak sandwich was apparently very good.  Cooked medium rare as requested.  But my trio of sliders were uber disappointing.

    Really? Award winning BBQ? You've GOT TO BE KIDDING ME.
    The trio is designed to show off their bbq pulled pork, bbq pulled chicken and their hamburger.  all of it came cold.  No smokey flavors.  The best of all of them was surprisingly the chicken.

    Next time I will look for another place in Creekside when I am in Whistler.

    Great place to go for apres-ski. The barnyard burger is a true masterpiece of meat. It's go pulled pork, pulled chicken, ground beef and cheese. It will fill you up no matter how hungry you are.

    This restaurant is right next to our home. The place is always packed. Amazing that you can't hear the loud music from our condo. We dined around 7:30pm after awesomeness day on the slopes. The waitress told us we got only 30 min, cuz the place turns to a bar. (had kids with us). Heard pulled pork sandwich was the hit. Oh boy... it wasn't.. Nachos were marginal. Hockey games on 9 TVs and NFL on 1.. NICE! Overall, we like to support the local businesses. It's a hit or miss for us. Glad Dusty's is still rockin.

    Drink here but don't really eat here especially if it is the last weekend of the season. When you would think everyone would be partying and having a great time - you know the eat, drink and be merry...

    .... but not at Dusty's

    Dusty's is great in season for beer but do not touch the food which is average to poor.

    Terrible Salad's - limp lettuce and rock hard Chicken
    Really bad soup which looked more like Cat vomit than a Chicken and corn soup plus it was lukewarm..... yuk !!

    They get 1 star for the beer but nothing else.

    Went here for lunch on our way out of Whistler-- nice quiet alternative to the craziness of the village but... really poor beer selection. Was here with two kids and we sat on the patio, which was nice, but the 80's music was super loud for 1 in the afternoon. The kids thought the kid pizza was disgusting. It was obviously pre-made frozen pizza. Burgers and sandwiches were a step above fast food. This place is probably fine for apres ski if you get stuck at Creekside.

    more often than not, the thought of a pulled pork sandwich and a big pint of kokanee gold get me down the mountain faster than all my friends while we're skiing khyber, million dollar ridge or peak to creek.

    this place rocks. great food, great staff and a wicked apres atmosphere. at night the place descends into a rowdy ski-town chaos party, exactly how you would picture a bar at the end of a happy day on the slopes. check out a live show of a whole lotta led (led zep cover band) or the hairfarmers here. always a good time! if you're feeling frisky, the legends hot tub is only 20m away! nothing like a post-party hot tub to round out the perfect whistler gongshow night.

    An all day breakfast joint right at the base of the Creekside Gondola. The beers were getting set up on the outdoor patio as I was sipping on hot chocolate (Seattle's Best) and fruit cup outside. Food was fresh an I will definitely back for a full meal :)

    Went to Dusty's for lunch after doing the peak to creek run.  The food really hit the spot, so I went back for the next few days.  Actually, the desire to get to Dusty's for lunch was the reason I went down my first black diamond.  There blue hill was closed for a race and I had to ride down a black diamond to get to Dusty's.  The place was that good.

    After me and my bf came down from the hill by where the gondola is at,  we got pretty hungry and went to Dusty's. We shared a full rack of ribs they were so yummi the meat just fell of the bone. So then we ask our waiter, what beer would he recommend and he says try Kokanee Gold. It was the best beer i had ever tried, i hate him for it, cuz then when we went back to cali we looked for it and there is no Kokanee Gold =(  So now we are thinking to go back again this december to have a couple of pitchers of that precious liquid. And of course the ribs.
