Just when you thought Shi*t couldn't get much crazier in Whis, this place will blow your balls right the F&ck OFF!!
You think "Oh hey, should I get a chicken or beef burrito?"
Then the handsome man with glasses behind the counter goes "WHY THE F#CK DON'T YOU GET BOOOTH!!!!!"
Next thing you know you're eating the biggest burrito (Whole Wheat Wraps for the p*ssies) rammed full with the best freshly roasted chicken, spicy beef, (Chorizo for the real men) sided with homemade Salsa and Guac all for $10 - WHAT THE F*CK!!!!
Right when you're meals about to finish you decide to take down a couple Dos Equis Amber's and head back to the hill.
Just try to stack that sh*t up against anywhere else in town and you'll be sadly disappointed and come crawling back to Dups where they won't give a sh*t about your sob story and how you spent $20 for a plate of Nachos at Longhorns.
    Now go get some Mexican.

For the price:food quantity ratio in Whistler, this place can't be beat.  While the service was friendly at this small hole in the wall place, the food was bland and not very tasty.   I've learned before and confirmed here never to trust Mexican food made by an Aussie.

Probably the best meal I've had in Whistler. We ordered "the chief" which is a beef/chicken combo. It's pricey for a burrito, and it ain't the authentic stuff in California or anything, but everything was seasoned well and the ingredients (tomatoes, lettuce, guacamole) were nice and fresh.

I have to say, the stoner vibe of the servers/kitchen staff may not be everyone's cup of tea, but our group had a blast with these guys -- talking about hockey (I know nothing), lives of seasonal workers in Whistler, UK economy, etc. Actually, I'm pretty sure it was the convo/ambience that made it so enjoyable. Good on them.

Atmosphere: 2 tables and probably 10 seats along a bar.  Small little place, but wouldn't expect a whole lot considering it's a cheap place in Whistler.

Service: The cook/server that was assisting me was friendly and struck up mild conversation.  He got our food out to us pretty quickly, but he forgot one of our items and worked quickly to get it on the table for us (which is much appreciated).

Food: We both had the chicken enchilada plate and a side of Mexican nuggets.  The enchiladas had very little red sauce on top, and the interior was almost all shredded chicken with little cheese...equating to a very dry enchilada that was uncomfortable to eat.  There was some tomatoes on top, but I found myself searching for an acceptable hot sauce that I could smoother the enchilada in so that I could chew and get it down.  The black beans were decent, but you could tell they were sitting out for a while.  I had a bite of rice, but it was also incredibly dry and I gave up. The enchilada plate was comprised of two enchiladas (small corn tortillas).  The mexican nuggets were your typical hash browns..nothing special.

Price: The enchilada plate was close to $9 while the mexican nuggets were $4.  The server knocked off the nuggets since they were absent from the main course.  Overpriced for what you get, even for Whistler.  Wasn't very good, so I can't recommend this unless you are really craving mexican food.

Bottomline: Whistler is full of great food, this place is not one of them.  Being the only 'cheap' mexican place in Whistler affords it a second star for the times when a burrito or dry enchilada are in need.

This place makes great tacos! I know their name has "burritos" in it but try the tacos...seriously.
Their Chicken Tacos are delicious. The chicken is shredded, seasoned just right, and the shells are fresh. They also have an interesting assortment of sauces on the counter.
I have gone to this place twice and it was in the evening during the winter. Maybe that is the best time to go??? I ordered the tacos both times. I do not know how the burritos are.
The place itself is small so don't expect to have a lot of room to sit during rush hours! But it seems to be a popular place to get your tacos or burritos. You can get it to-go or eat it there if you find a spot to sit :)

I've heard good reviews about this place so had to come here and experience it.

I had my standard veggie burrito, however, the person behind the counter wasn't very adept at rolling the burrito so it fell apart when I handled it.

The price is reasonable - if you don't add any extras - they wanted extra for salsa verde(!) - guac I understand, but for salsa verde?! I knew rent was expensive but this put me off.

Better than Mission burrito in Toronto (which was an epic fail) but it doesn't meet my standards for burritos. Hopefully this changes, because I would love to have a burrito place that I like here in Whis!

If you eat Dups after a day on the slopes of Whistler/Blackcomb - this is a 5 star joint. If you eat any other day it is an average 3 star burrito.

I wandered into Dups on my last day in Whistler and was impressed with the size of the burrito. Add guacomole and my burrito cost over 10 dollars which is a bit pricey (but it is Whistler). The burrito was good, not stellar - not terrible. I got the Cheef (chicken and beef).

The seating was a little awkward, but the cashier was friendly and the local girls were in the restaurant which made the burrito experience a little more enjoyable.

I liked Dups - it beats waiting in line 20 minutes for every other restaurant in Whistler.

Yum burritos, filling, decently priced for the area ($10), and really friendly staff and customers. Nothing to write home about, but def something worth returning to if i ever find myself back in whistler (which i certainly will). Had the veggie chimichunga (sp?) something i'd never tried and it was very good!

dups is a solid feed on the cheap in whis. you really can't ask for much more. a huge plate of food for $9 that will leave you stuffed. the staff are laid back, the restaurant is reasonably clean and the flavors are great.

if you are going for a burrito i recommend beef over chicken, it's got wwaaay more flavor.

Veggie burrito was good.  I thought $9 was a bit pricey though (guac added for a buck).  Odd little place, minimal seating.  Weird vibe as workers talked about last night's party as if no custos were around, watched TV and played on fb.  Not like it took awhile of anything just seemed like I was in the middle of an ep of The Hills.
