This is a little gem of a place! In the age of email and texting, it's so nice to find a place dedicated to pen paper!

Duly Noted has an amazing selection of cards ad paper to choose from. Weather you're looking for that perfect card, a nice pen or a neat little gift, you must check out this store. Every time I have been there I have found something new and fun. The staff is super friendly and very helpful in finding what you need for that special occasion.

    I love this place.

Although I only send mail to my grandma and the occasional thank-you card, I could pretty much spend my entire paycheck here. I have a penchant for paper. And notebooks. And nice pens.

I've been frequenting Duly Noted since their days on Quinpool and have never been disappointed. The staff is always super friendly and helpful which is an added bonus.

Even though letter writing and sending might be a dying art in the age of technology, there is still something very classy about getting a nice hand-written letter on nice stationary.

Who would have thought it was possible to spend so much time and money in such a tiny store?

Don't let Duly Noted fool you - it's small, but mighty. I could spend hours in this place picking out cards for the next three year's worth of birthdays, drooling over Moleskine notebooks and buying my weight in stationary. They have pens galore, neat gift items like magnets and photo albums, and pretty much anything a stationary/organizational junkie like me could ever want.

One of my favorite things is their wide selection of colorful blank stationary. They're great for making your own party invitations or just brightening up your desk.

Duly Noted is the kind of place that will inspire you to write letters to friends, and since everyone loves to get mail, I highly recommend you pay this little gem of downtown Halifax a visit.

I have to say that I've been nothing but happy with the quality of  service and product that I've found at this store.  I've been back a few times since my last review, with and without Mike, to select, order, and pick up our wedding invitations, and the staff here have made the entire process as pleasant and painless as possible.  They have been kind, friendly, and happy to answer any questions and/or offer any suggestions as needed.

The invitations themselves look beautiful and professional, and they provide a wide variety of options to reflect many different personality types (and are very flexible about customizing what they offer to suit your vision).  We were able to create a design that was just what we were looking for.

One wedding planning item down, only about 6 thousand more to go...

I am inordinately fond of all things stationary. It was the best part of back to school shopping.  I adore a good pen and a heavy weighted paper. And Duly Noted understands just how I feel about those things.

They carry some of my favourite brands of fountain pen ink - J.Herbin and Noodler's. I was especially excited about the Noodler's ink (so many colours!), since before finding it at Duly Noted, I was only able to find it online.  They also carry some of my favourite papers (such as Clairefontaine).

The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They've even let me try out inks to make sure I had just the right colour.

You see? My love of stationary borders on ridiculous.

It's one of the great spots to pick up fun and interesting greeting cards downtown.  I haven't had the opportunity to check them out for invites (they weren't around when I got married), but that's okay. Any shop that can hook me up with pretty fountain pens, inks, and paper is my kind of place.

I was really impressed today upon stumbling into the brand new, and soon to be only (sorry north enders) 'Duly Noted Stationery' shop.

My gut reaction upon entering this story was: woo, colours! Something about looking at a wall full of bright wrapping paper variants and shelves of glossy dyed paper can't help but brighten your mood. 'Duly Noted Stationery' specializes in printing announcements and invitations although they also have a section of gift items ranging from funky journals and cards to photo albums made from re-furbished old record collections.

I have been dissuaded from spending too much time in these types of custom stationery & gift stores in other cities because they can be extremely over priced. I was therefore very impressed with 'Duly Noted Stationery.' I bought two cards (each between $3-$4), a set of journals ($10) as well as a single sheet of organic wrapping paper all for $20 taxes inc!

This shop's owner, Nicole, was also extremely accommodating! She helped me with my quest for plain brown paper (I want to decorate it myself) as well as took an interest in Yelp, even stopping to head online and check it out herself. A great locally owned business! I highly recommend you support the new location of 'Duly Noted Stationery'!  I know I'll be back.

Didn't think it was even possible to get this excited about stationary!

Step inside this little paper boutique and you're guaranteed to be swept away by all the lively colors and prints of papers, greeting cards and gift wrap.
I first came here in search of unique, quality wedding invitations- and I found just what I was looking for- sleek and simple with a subtle hit of adornment (and the best part- these beautifully designed invites were far less pricey than samples I'd seen at other locations- score!!)

Pleased with my findings, I continued to pore through their endless supply of other paper products and stationary goods.  I scoped out the greeting car section, and found a variety of beautiful brithday and Christmas cards.  I like Duly Noted's selection- they're unique and intrinsic, and you won't find ones like these at Hallmark or your local dollar store, that's for sure.  No worries about anyone else buying the same card as you (unless that shop here too, ha!)

There are also tons of beautiful gift wrap selections for any event (this Christmas varieties seem to be at the forefront this time of the year).  While talking with one of the friendly staff during my visit, I learned that they will actually provide complimentary wrapping for you if you choose to purchase a roll of paper, how cool is that?  Usually I wrap my own gifts (used to be a mall gift-wrapper back in my high school days...ah the joys of being a broke student...), but on the off chance that I get lazy, I know where to go for my wrapping services :)

One other thing I like about this place is their moleskin journals, which are as varied and assorted as the paper stationary at Duly Noted.  So far, I've bought a couple, and they're great!  To complement it, I bought one of their fancy pens ('cause you know, if you're buying fancy journals, you might as well splurge on a fancy writing utensil too)- not cheap, but it does the job, and when the ink runs out, I can just switch the cartridge.

I'll definitely be coming back here!

It's like this is a high-end stationary store or something.  It seems fancier than a lot of other card stores around.

That being said, it doesn't affect me shopping around in here at all.  There are so many different colours of paper in different styles and sizes.  If you're embarking on a craft of any sort, I'm sure Duly Noted can help out.

Speaking of helping out, the salesladies at this store are always super nice.  They answer questions knowledgeably and informatively.  They don't seem upset or annoyed that you're asking questions, which is definitely nice.

For all your paper needs, check out the new location Duly Noted has to offer.

Super shop on a side street.

It isn't hard to guess what Duly Noted Stationary is all about, but after a quality browse, I was fully impressed with this shop's spectrum of writing related equipment

Cards for all occasions and all ages, writing pads, tissue and wrapping paper means Frame-It considers the bigger picture in its realm of services. Everything is tasteful and unique-- making you think you really do need that cute magnetic writing pad. Lots of gift giving potential and luxury tools if you're a note taker.

A glass-encased selection of ball-point pens ooze elegance, but at a price. Be prepared to spend $75-200 for one sweet ass pen. Worth it? I haven't done my research, but I'll stick to my Papermates for now.

Overall, great store that will make you want to spend. Pretty things for those who love to write, record, list and gift. Discrete by location, but vibrant in offerings.

Duly Noted Stationary is a great boutique shop for those of you looking for original cards and paper products.

The store has recently moved to a much bigger location just off Spring Garden Road. This move has definitely benefitted them, as they are in an area with a great deal more foot traffic.

What I like about Duly Noted is that they have a lot of cards for a variety of occasions that you are not likely to see anywhere else. From cute to crass, you'll most definitely be able to find the perfect card for whoever you're shopping for. More often than not a find myself torn between cards that are pitch-perfect rather than going through the standard drug store routine of deciding which card is the least awkward to send.

Duly Noted also have a lot of great gift wrap, journals, photo albums and just about anything you can think of that includes paper. The quality is top notch and the staff are a great help. Highly recommended.

Hot Hint: Mole skin journals, need I say more?

What a treat!  One of the things I miss about not living in Toronto are stationary stores like this one.   So glad I stumbled in!

I love the vibrant colors of wrapping paper on racks, the scores of unique cards and...a guilty pleasure - moleskin notebooks.   I used to make fun of my husband for holding them in such high esteem - it's said that Hemingway wrote all his ideas in his moleskin journals.    My favorite are the small, brightly coloured versions that can fit into my purse...perfect for jotting down inspirations.  But I digress, the point is, Duly Noted has a huge selection.

If you're in need of invitations, this seems to be the place to visit.   And the staff will be more than pleased to help out.  While I was there, a couple were choosing their wedding invitations and it was hard to tell who was more excited about the choices.

Not looking for paper...there are lots of cute little stationary related gifts as well.

Duly Noted is surprisingly fun. I mean, paper products and cards don't draw out the enthusiasm in most people, but when you happen upon this great stationary store, somehow you feel invested, maybe even passionate, about quality paper-products.

I've spent upwards of 45 minutes in this shop before, and it's not that big! I love reading all of the cards and sussing out the different stationary. It seems so shi shi to have personal stationary... I think I should get some and maybe one of those fancy $50 pens.

I enjoy perusing their assortment of Mole Skin calendars and notebooks, and have been known to purchase my share of writing books when perhaps I'm still working my way through one. Hey! Having multiple backup thought repositories is very important - you never know when a moment of pure genius is going to strike!

Before you head to staples or one of the other paper giants, you should take a trip to Duly Noted. It seems kind of special to be able to buy stationary and cards at a local shop, with a palpable love of all things writing and note related hanging in the air.

Duly Noted is a store you should really take your time browsing through.
When you walk in you can not imagine all the wonderful colours that surround you. If you are the type of person who loves the really neat stationary, this is the place for you.

I had a wonderful time looking through the beautiful stationary. The sales people are very nice here and do not mind you having a long look, I am sure they are used to it.

There are some really neat items that you can give as gifts that would be pretty special to receive.

It may tell you something about me that I think there are few things finer than some really wonderful stationary. Duly Noted recently moved from Quinpool to Brenton, and I'm happy to have them in my neighbourhood. On my first visit I bought a really beautiful set of letterpress cards to take care of my post-holiday thank you's, flipped through a bunch of individual cards, and thought about paper projects I could get supplies for. Their racks of wrapping paper/art paper are gorgeous, and surrounding yourself with all that color is a great pick-me-up on a grey day.
