Firstly, I would like to say, I have only had the Dim Sum here. The Dim Sum is amazing!
Coming from LA, a mecca for all foods really, this place is my holy sanction for dim sum. It's delicious. However, this place only receives 2 stars for these reasons:
-food takes about 20-30 minutes, even though they aren't busy
-there are no typical food carts
-workers are RUDE and do not seem interested in helping you at all
-they are stingy about giving you hot sauce
-they have a very limited selection of dim sum to choose from
-most of the time, the dim sum they are supposed to have, they won't when you go
overall, the service is bad, but the food is good. I continue to be a customer here whenever I am in the London area because, well, I love dim sum :) -

Dragon Gate Restaurant has become a local favorite for most of the people in London, Ontario. This restaurant is a standard dining, takeout, and delivery. I would expect more from them. It is below average. I have been dine in, delivery, and pick up. I have been there for years over ten years. Wish they could remember me but NO! Same order and same time. But still could not remember. Still tipping good at less 12% of the total meal.
PROS:
-Fresh served food
-It is cheap and moderate
-Authentic Chinese food (tasty)
-Sunday for a brunch of Dim Sum
CONS:
-Lound and noise (you could hear the cooks)
-No food standard taste (when order the same things for years)
-Parking lot is not much (better for delivery/pick up)
-It was not worth waiting 45 minutes for the order (when order one hour before pick up, plus it was only one order)
-One telephone line for order (waited for 20 mins for order)
-Slow service on orders (when there not much customers -waiting 30mins)
-No Wheelchair Accessible
OVERALLS:
Below average because I've experienced better services, better ordering system, and more comfortable place to eat in. I wish they could have more telephone line for ordering in or pickup. Just read the cons. That's why I give it below average. Plus I always see that there aren't that much people goes there at all. Mostly for pick up/delivery.
