Nice modern feel, breakfast laid out in the morning. Awesome.
If your looking for interaction, not so much, it was perfect my choice.
Location was close to subway, walking distance to Bloor St. Fantastic shopping and the other main subway line.
For the price its amazing. Wifi included, breakfast. Brillant
When the host was in they where very helpful and delightful, would stay there again in a heartbeat. -

Downtown Home Inn is a beautiful place.
Located near a small and peacefull park the b&b offers a quiet stay in a vibrant area.
There are great restaurants nearby and I would personally suggest the japanese restaurant Oishii on Church St.
The owner, Unal, is friendly and helpful.
The place is the cleanest where I have been in Toronto (rooms, washrooms, dining room), with a good breakfast and a free beverage during the day (excellent orange juices!). I have been in two different rooms and they were perfect, but the one with the sundeck was great to enjoy my dinner outside, or to simply enjoy the good weather in March having some tai-chi!
Perfect location for a short or long stay in Downtown.

Review from Nakia H.
I stayed at Downtown Inn in February with one of my girlfriends. She loves to stay at B&Bs so we chose this one for a weekend stay in Toronto. It was centrally located in Toronto's gay-friendly area. About two blocks away from a subway station and near lots of restaurants. One drawback is there is no parking on the street and we had to put our car in a municipal pay lot.
The best thing about the Inn was the beds. OMG, once I snuggled underneath the covers it was sleep city. Best linens. Best mattress. Best pillows.
The place is sparsely decorated but it works. The furnishings that are present were nice and modern. The inn-keeper was very pleasant although mostly absent but we didn't mind. Breakfast was laid out in the morning and easy to help yourself. We didn't need much from him anyway but if we did, I suspect it would've been easy to reach him.
I would stay here again. The price was right and the stay was comfy. Really what we've come to expect from B&Bs - that home away from home feeling.
