Need to defer your exams? Need some excuses for handing in your assignments late? Want to skip the labs or in-class assignments?
This walk-in clinic is the answer. This is the CLOSEST walk-in clinic around UT campus. Docs are quite kind and friendly. My friends went to this clinic more than 20 times, and they all got their notes successfully (I've never been to this clinic for notes though lol. My friends just took me there because they didn't want to go alone). Furthermore, the docs even performed thorough examinations and looked closely into their symptoms. We always kind of felt bad for them. LOL. I don't know anyone around me who went to this clinic because they were actually sick. But I can assure you that they are professional from what I've seen.
The waiting area is decently spacious. It doesn't have that shady atmosphere. The office is on upper floor (4th? Don't remember), and the cell phone reception was pretty bad. I remember having to come out of the building to make a call.
They are open pretty late. I don't know the exact hours, but I was always there when it was dark. -

Been here a few times. Waits have usually been a bit long, but I've always been treated well. Uh, no pun intended. One time I had to be hauled out of here on a stretcher with a forty-degree fever and frighteningly low blood-pressure; everyone at the clinic was really calm and kind and efficient about it. (And yes, I was okay...at least after several rounds of IV antibiotics at Toronto General.)

Quick, efficient and friendly. I've been here twice, both times in the mid-afternoon during the week. I call before I go just to ensure that there isn't a long wait. The doctor I saw is quick to refer to subject matter experts if he doesn't know what the issue is.
The small office is located in unit 418 on the fourth floor. -

I went to this clinic a few times and i thought it was okay until yesterday. Its true that ive been in that clinic when i needed my medical note to defer my tests. I usually stay home when im really sick if i only have regular classes, i can just borrow my notes from my friends. And yesterday i have met THE worst doctor in my life. He was so rude, chewing gums like some lil bullies from high school, and he was accusing me that im perfectly normal , before checking my conditions. When i was having a painful unstoppable cough with chest pain he said that i had enough cough so stop coughing. Wow.. Obviously he didnt even wanna hear what i was trying to describe, with his attitude really sarcastic. he told me to get some drugs which i couldnt even hear properly since he was already rushed out of the room with his back turned on me. On the note he said i got a flu. So I went to my family doctors clinic today and my fam doctor told me that hes suspecting asthma, told me to get a chest xray and prescribed me with biaxin and singulair.
If you ever want this rude attitude with misdiagnosis, go find dr freeman (forgot his name but something like that) in downtown doctors walk in medical centre. Worth a trip.
Ps But i gotta add this- other than him, the other doctors are really gentle. Without misdiagnosis. -

After discovering some weird bumps on my back, and addressing the fact that I was a compulsive hypochondriac, I decided I better get them checked out. However, I don't have a family doctor in Toronto so my only other option was to head to a walk in clinic.
This was literally the first one I found on 411. It's on the corner of Bloor and Bathurst in a nice, clean building. I showed up and waited about 45 for a doctor to see me. There were quite a few people their waiting to be seen, and it seemed like it wasn't always first come, first served but depended on your condition.
Anyway I went in to see the doctor. She was relatively kind but seemed eager to get me in and out. I explained my symptoms (which at the time I had self-diagnosed as bed bugs) she said she wasn't sure what they were but she would prescribe me some topical cream. I asked her more questions but she seemed hesitant to answer. The most annoying thing was I went to have the prescription filled and the cream cost $50, which I didn't find out until I had to pay for it.
Canada's healthcare system isn't in great shape and as a result clinics tend to be understaffed and overwhelmed with patients. This place wasn't great, but if you're looking for a place in a hurry, it's not that bad either. -

Before finding a family doctor I used the Downtown Doctor's clinic for my health needs. The clinic is a small space tucked in a big office building. I've been to the office twice and have never had to wait long to see a doctor (an FYI - I visited the office midweek, early in the afternoon). I had encounters with 2 doctors, both were extreme opposites. The first doctor I encountered was (hot,) friendly, didn't rush my appointment and spent time asking me questions to thoroughly understand my health issues . My encounter with the second doctor wasn't so great. He made little to no eye contact, didn't ask much and unsurprisingly, ended up misdiagnosing me. If it weren't for the first doctor I would have given Downtown Doctors 2 stars.

i don't have a family doctor in toronto yet. the staff and the doctors here have been patient and helpful. i get off work at 5 and they accept their last patient at 5:30 so i usually end up running there and making it just in time. they are friendly and the wait times haven't been ridiculous... so don't change that based on this review (haha)... seriously.
