Friendly staff and super cute puppies and kitties. Small store but has the basics

There are pet stores and there are pet stores. I do have a natural aversion to most pet stores because when I go in I can't help but pitying the animals because all they want is love and instead they are jammed in tiny cages and not allowed to interact with people. In most ways Doogans is no different, but there is a benevolence inside that does put it above others. I like that the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely seem to like the animals. This pet store has the usual assortment of animals, rats, birds, dogs, cats and a surprisingly large amount of rabbits which I can only assume to mean that they left them in the cages together too long. I wouldn't recommend this store for your larger animals, but if you are looking for a small pet then I think that this is an excellent choice.
