Just went back the other day to get some big prints done for a volunteer group. The service was as I'm used to: fast, punctual, and courteous. I also had a chance to try some of the new lenses with my existing camera, and the staff were very knowledgeable on what was new and different with the lenses. This is a very technical field that you cannot simply glaze over without understanding the material.
The equipment in my camera back is starting to get very cozy with one another, so I was also looking at their camera bag selection. It was very well stocked, and the staff even had no problems letting me bring all my gear in and see what would be a good fit. They even asked questions and gave their own experiences with the different camera bags to help me make the right decision.
I definitely left snap happy after trying on some of the new lenses :)1 Previous Review: Show all »

Don's Photo is a full service camera and photo development shop. Edmonton's only location (thus far) is nestled away in the Meadowlark area, and is definitely worth a visit if you are a camera enthusiast. The prices are excellent, they sell a full line of accessories from camera bacgs to tripods, and you can get your photos developed here quickly (or digital shots printed out, whichever medium you use). If you are in a hurry, you can pick up your prints at the drive-through window.
Don's sells traditional, digital, and digital video cameras. I have purchased my digial SLR here, a point and shoot for a newspaper I edit, and my digital camcorder here. The sales staff were very friendly and helped me with my questions. I also have had digital prints done up for me - I just uploaded my files to their server at home using the software they gave me, and the next day they are ready. As well, I have had professional photographic prints made for me here in larger sizes for shows and exhibits.
In other words, I am a satisfied repeat customer. -

Went in to see if they could fix my camera - the guy who helped me din't seem very interested in solving my problem. He tried to tell me it was my fault the flash wouldn't pop up. I'm not interested in his blame game, I want it fixed, please!

I bought my d700 here nikon and it even beat my store in Toronto. Hanks. I didnt have to wait for the shipping! I even bought my zillion dollars 200mm lens from here for a super great price. I dont really deal with one customer service but they are all nice so far and dont have a snooty attitude. The only camera store I use and recommend so far. the only bad part - Parking.
